Chapter 10

I couldn't believe my eyes as he just chuckled.

"Now that is no way to treat your sempai." His eyes twinkled as he smiled at me knowing that comment would make me pissed.

"Oh please. You are only older than me by five minutes." I huffed as I felt Chase shift around uncomfortably.

"Still that makes me older." I pushed past him causing him to fall on his ass. Opening the fridge, I sighed at what I saw... all the meat was gone...

"What are you doing here Loki?" I have enough trouble as it is.

"I wanted to see my favourite kid in the world!" He smiled at me as his eyes sparkled.

"For the millionth time... YOU ARE OLDER BY FIVE MINUTES!" I shouted as I slammed the fridge door shut.

"Still older!" He ducked as I picked up a plate and threw it at his head. The plate shattered as it collided with the wall.

"You need to control your temper, little one!" He teased me as he came and patted my head as I swatted his hand away.

"I'm not small!"I half shouted as I hit his hand away from my hair again.

"But I am still taller than you!" He laughed as I tried to hit him.

"Well... I am sexier than you!" That struck a chord as he stopped laughing as he looked at me.

"I am hotter than you. You can't deny that." He spoke in a low serious tone. I walked up to him and placed my hand on his forehead.

"I admit... you do have a fever. Maybe you should go and lay down." He was stunned as his face morphed into shock.

"Sorry to interrupt but who is that?" I turned around as I saw Chase standing in the doorway with anger on his face as he pointed at Loki.

Chase POV

A boy was standing in the kitchen and I watched as he teased Seth. I had never seen Seth so expressive before and I smiled seeing him act childish.

The boy looked similar yet so much different to Seth. They had a similar jaw line with the same naturally straight black hair. The boys' eyes were a deep brown which would have appeared black if my eyes sight was not enhanced. I had never seen Seth without his glasses but surprisingly I couldn't see through it either no matter how hard I tried. Their heights were also similar which was 5.9 ft. They were short compared to my 6.2 ft.

I didn't mind watching Seth when he was like this but I felt rage consume me as I saw Seth touch him. Seth came very close to the other boy and gazed into his eyes as he whispered softly.

"Sorry to bother you but who is that?" I tried keeping my voice steady as I pointed at the other boy as Seth turned around to look at me. He must have caught the slight anger that slipped onto my face as he looked back at the other boy before looking at me again.

"His name is Loki." Seth answered me with his usual monotone without even a hint to the emotion he showed earlier.

"And what is his relation to you?" Anger slipped into my voice making it slightly deep and threatening.

"Wouldn't you like to know." I got pissed as Loki came and hugged him from behind while resting his chin on Seth's shoulder.

"Yes I would actually." I half growled as Loki looked at me and smirked.

"Sorry but I am under no obligation to tell you." You are my mate!

I paused.

No... I rejected him so I gave him the right to be with whoever he chooses.

Seth just ignored me after that but I just so badly wanted to grab Seth and growl at the other boy while shouting 'Mine! Don't touch!'

I watched as Seth turned around in Loki's arms and hugged him back. I pictured Seth hugging me or even just smiling at me and it made my heart thud erratically. But, as I looked back at Seth, I watched how he laughed and smiled with Loki. My mind was made up.

I will have Seth and no one can stop me!

Alex POV

"Why don't we make him jealous?" The girl suggested but I quickly shook my head.

"No. He is not the type to get jealous easily." The girl sighed.

"You are not helping at all!" She shouted as she through her hands up.

"I didn't ask for your help. You asked for mine and in exchange you get what you want and I will get what I want. That was the deal." She looked at me sharply.

"You didn't get anywhere with him on your own!" She raised her voice but I just looked ta her calmly.

"I got further with Seth than you ever dreamed of getting with the mutt." She silently fumed as she knew what I had just said was true.

"I-" The door was kicked open and a voice I didn't want to hear called out my name.

"Alex!" Aiden whined as he ran into the room. I sighed as the she-wolf got up from where she sat and walked out knowing that this meeting was done.

"What do you want?" I turned and faced Aiden. Although he was a three hundred year old vampire, he still acted like a kid.

"I had a weird experience today!" He clasped his hands behind his back as he bounced on the balls of his feet.

"And this concerns me how exactly?" I asked not really caring.

"Well I don't know but I felt strange when I touched someone!" Felt strange when he touched someone... that sounds familiar.

"And what did you feel when you touched this person?" It can't be...

"Warm..." I completely froze after that word left his mouth.

"Warm?" This is not possible!

"Yes! I felt alive! I felt complete!" Oh dear god no! No! No! No!

"Do you know who this person is? Did you see their face?" This can't be happening!

"No I didn't... should I have looked at him?" Does he really not know what it means?

"Yes!" I stood up as I slammed my hand on the table, startling Aiden.

"Why? Was he important?" How could he be so stupid?

"Yes... He was your mate..."
