I was moving to a new town again. Moving every few months becomes boring after a while but I just learnt to deal with it.

It was always the same thing. New town, new school, new friends, new house and new teachers. Over the years I have learnt to just blend in with the environment so I don't have anything to tie me to the town when I leave again.

So here I was on my first day at a new school and already I was given names. I don't understand why people judge me before they even know my name. Yes I don't dress to impress and I don't socialize but that is no reason to put a label on my back.

Another person shoved me into the lockers making my books drop on the ground, scattering my papers on the floor. I just sighed and bent to pick it up while people stepped on my books and my fingers, making me wince from the slight pain.

When the first bell rang everyone started to run to class before the late bell sounded. I was left standing in a deserted hallway with no idea where the office was. I took this time to really look at my surroundings. The floor was a dark grey with the walls a light green making it seem as if the hallway just goes on and on. The doors were the same grey as the floors so it was hard to see were the one starts and the other ends. It didn't look like a school a prison would have suited it better. There were no colourful posters advertising up coming school events only graffiti on the walls that looked to have had someone try to clean it but gave up half way through. When I eventually found the office and received my schedule the bell for first period already went so I just walked to the first class on my list. Maths. Room 91 in building 3.

I just dropped my books in the locker that was given to me before walking to my first lesson. On the way someone knocked my glasses off my face causing their friends to laugh as I went to pick it up. After placing my glasses back in place I looked at who did it. I saw a group of boys about 18 years old standing in front of me laughing. They had no real special features but they all shared a common build. Each of them were built to some extent and shared the same tan.

One stood out in particular. The boy standing right at the back was the only one not laughing at me but he had a smirk on his face as he looked at what his friends were doing to me. He was different from the rest. He give out the feeling of power and dominance. He had stormy grey eyes and bronze hair that had gold highlights in the sun. If I was looking for a relationship he would be the type of guy I would avoid because at first glance you can tell he was a popular guy just by his looks. When he looked at me our eyes met and his eyes glazed over turning his grey eyes to a light silver. And right then I knew... I was his mate.

Chase POV

I was walking with my friends when Jason, my beta, walked into the new kid causing his glasses to drop onto the floor and all my friends started laughing as he bent to pick it up.

The boy was dressed like a total nerd. Over sized coke bottle glasses covered his face and whatever his glasses didn't cover was shadowed by his hair that was a midnight black and was slightly longer in the front making it able to cover his forehead and the top of his glasses. His body was covered by an oversized faded red hoodie that swallowed his frame and faded baggy denim jeans. He was the type of person you just see in the crowd. Someone that never sticks out.

When he looked up his eyes locked with mine and I immediately felt the pull.

'Mate!' My inner wolf cried out in my head. No this isn't possible. My mate was to be female to continue my blood line and a werewolf! Not some scrawny little human boy that looks to be scared of his own shadow!

I wasn't afraid to say that I was bisexual in fact everyone knows that I am but I refuse to have a mate that is not attractive in anyway or form. So I did the only thing I thought necessary.

"I, Jason Smith, hear by reject my mate and life partner."

Immediately I felt the pull lessen but it didn't go away. It will never go away for as long as we are alive.

I watched as he walked away not even a backwards glance at us and I felt my heart break at seeing him walk away from me but no way was I going to retract my rejection.

Watching him walk away, I realised that I didn't even know his name.

My friends joked about but I couldn't bring myself to joke with them like I would have before. Now I just feel empty like something is missing from my life and I don't know how to get it back.

"Chase! Let's go!" Jason called out to me as I just stared at the place I last saw my ex- mate.

Seth POV

I felt it when he rejected me and to be honest I couldn't bring myself to really care. It just means that when I don't have to worry about that when I move again and that I will be leaving a broken hearted mate behind.

By the time I walked into the classroom the lesson had already started but I didn't care as I walked up to the teacher and handed my note in from the office. He just nodded and told me to find a seat. I did as told without complaint and went to sit at the back by the window, grateful that I didn't have to do introductions. The classroom was a pale yellow with desks placed in neat rows and two doors at the back leading to an unknown location. The entire right side of the walls were covered from top to bottom in windows giving a view of the school grounds.

As the lesson continued whispers started up about me. It wasn't really bad but it annoyed me that they just made up things about me instead of asking for the facts. Throughout the lesson I sat bored as I had already completed this set work by my previous schools. I was supposed to be in my senior year but most schools refused to have a 15 year old graduate so I just studied online and will write my exams when I am done. I just want to be done with school but I understand why they won't place me with the seniors as the age and maturity level are too big a gap.

All through the lesson I was questioned on what I knew and I answered all of them after just glancing at the board. When the lesson was finally over I got up and looked at what was next in my timetable. English. Room 101 Building 2. I sighed as I walked out the door only to meet a group of six boys waiting for me.

"Yo! Four eyes!" The boy standing just outside the door on the left called out when he saw me, making others turn to look at what the commotion was about.

"So how about doing all our homework for us in exchange for us not beating the shit out of you on your first day?" The guy on the other side spoke up when I stopped. We now had everyone's attention and all eyes were trained on me, waiting for my response well I am not going to just be a push over but I can't blow my cover so I did the obvious thing.

"I-"
