That was the moment she has been waiting for the last 7 months, she is going to see her family, not on face time but face to face!

"Ok, so here's how the things are going to work, I am going to hide somewhere on the pitch, they should be out in 15 minutes, walk for a while, look around and go meet them there, Daniel will introduce you" she said while taking a moment to look around the place that welcomed her and made her feel like home! "You are going to say that you are here for some media stuff, that it's going to be good for your popularity or something like that, okay" Mia asked while taking a deep breath

"Yes M, you've got this, we've got this" Daniel told his cousin and placed his hand on her arm like a nice gesture, it was really helpful in that moment because her nerves were going all over the place!

After the drivers chatted for a while and Mia was already in one of the rooms closest to the pitch, Daniel and the others went outside and after a few minutes they saw them, the whole Chelsea team, in all their glory.

"Well isn't that the famous Daniel Ricciardo" a guy in a blue shirt said with a big smile on his face.

"Mason Mount, happy to see you mate" the australian said and greeted him with a bro hug.
"What about me heh" Ben Chilwell said and a lot of other players gathered around and started chatting with Daniel.

"Oh those are some of the other drivers. This is Max, those are Esteban, Charles, Pierre, Mick, also Carlos, Lance, George and Lando", Daniel introduced the drivers, "and that is the whole Chelsea team and their manager Thomas Tuchel"

"Oh Daniel, Am I not a part of the team" Thomas said with his typical german accent and a smile, "Of course you are, thank you for taking care of Mia" Daniel said quietly while hugging him, but bot too quiet...

When Daniel said that Lando again was wondering what happened with her, why does they took care of her, it was all a mystery for him.

"Talking about M, I wish she was here" one of the boys said, "Yeah, we miss her" the other agreed

"I am sorry boys, she went home to visit her mother, they haven't seen each other in a while" Daniel apologised and all of them understood.

When Thomas gave the boys guidance and the training was about to begin Kai Havertz looked at the beginning of the pitch than looked again at Thomas and back again, his eyes widened and he whispered "No way" the german midfielder was in total awe.

"Kai, pay attention what are you loo-" Mason was about to say but then he saw her...

"No" he said in disbelief. The last time he saw her they didn't left as the best friends, she told him that she is never going back, but here she was, and he was scared, what if when she see him, she leaves, he couldn't survive that, they haven't seen her in 7 months....

"Yes" she smiled softly and walked towards the boys. All of them were almost tearing up, some of them saw her like a best friend, a little sister, maybe even a daughter.

"No" Mason was still denying it, what if she disappears again?

"Yes Mason, I am here and I am not going anywhere" and when he heard that he rushed into her arms, they felt like home.

Both of them were crying, happy tears. "I am so sorry" she mumbled into the hug, "It's alright, I am sorry too", they locked their eyes, it was like an agreement, they forgave each other without words. While she hugged and greeted everyone Mia realised that Christian Pulisic was missing. Where was he?

"What are you doing here?" Cesar asked, he was like a big brother to her, every time she liked a boy, Cesar became the protective big brother, like the captain he was.

"What, you don't want me here, I can leave if you want" she said while pointing the door and a lot of "no ways" and " don't even think about it" were heard.

"You are not going anywhere, we just got you back" Thomas said and hugged her. He was the father she never had. Her father was always working, he gave her anything but love, and love was all she needed.

"I am staying here until you win something, so get to work before I join the team" everyone laughed and the boys went to training while the girl joined the drivers.

"Oh and Mia" Thomas turned to her, "Yes?" "Welcome home" he smiled at her and she smiled back. She realised that she really was home, it was relieving!

On the other hands Daniel and the other drivers were watching very carefully Mia's interactions with the players. They were so amazed to see how many people were under her spell, she was addicting, everyone wanted her around.

"So what do you think" Mia asked while sitting on the seats and watched the boys train "They are great, I can't believe we are here" Pierre offered her a big smile, the Alpha Tauri driver was like a ball of sun, so good and charming person.

"Me too Pierre, me too" she sighed and it was true, she couldn't believe she was back home.

"How did you met them anyway" Lance asked and for a second on her face appeared a sad smile, she covered it quickly but not quickly enough, Lando still saw it...

"Oh, the last manager was a friend of my dad" she said with a smile, but Lando knew better.
"That's really cool" Lance said and she agreed with him. It was cool, right?

Her father send her there with a reason, it turned out really good....

That place was really her home. When she met Frank, the guy that offered her to stay with them she was still a stupid, young teenager, then Thomas took the lead and she snapped great with him too, it was like she belonged there. And for almost two years that stadium, the pitch, those locker room, those players were her home, and she loved each and every one of them. They all offered her their love and support even when she didn't deserve it.

She became like his their lucky charm. The boys couldn't get on the pitch before a game without hugging her, Mia bring them luck.

When any of them needed a friend to talk she was there. She was there when Kai first arrived, Mia helped him with his english. When Mason broke up with his girlfriend Mia was in his apartment at 4pm watching home alone and eating ice cream with him. When some people were bullying Kepa, she stood there to defend him, she was there for all of them, but it wasn't always that easy!

On her first week, maybe months there she was awful with them, and they still were treating her like a queen. In her defence it was really hard to be send in different country with people you don't know, but she got used to it, and it was maybe the first time her dad have done something right on his own...

Lando was admiring her. There, with them she was vert happy. A part of him was jealous, maybe because she wasn't that happy with him, or maybe because he was scared that she is going to like any of them, probably both...

"After they are done training we are going in my apartment to catch up a little, and then I was thinking about a restaurant, what do you think?" the girl asked and they all agreed

Lando wanted to talk to her as soon as possible. The Mclaren driver had decided that he is going to make up for everything bad he did until she wants him as much as he wants her, little does he know...

He went up and sat to her, "Hey Smith" she smiled at him, and that smile was enough to end global wars

"Hey Norris" he returned the smile. "Look Mia, there is something I wanted to ask you" he said to her, he was nervous, maybe she was going to tell him that she wants nothing with him, "Okay, go on", he took a deep breath and when the driver finally got the nerves to ask her something, or someone interior him, maybe his biggest fear was coming to life, when he saw the look in her eyes, the sparks and the smile on her lips was so wide, he has seen her only once with that big of a smile and that was when she saw Frenkie....

He heard an american accent and Lando knew immediately he is going to coast a lot of trouble just by the look on both of their faces.
