(i got heaps of pings of people liking this story and felt inspired for an ark I have been putting off, I hope you enjoy)

harry once again walked past Godrick and his crew not even glancing at them, too busy crunching numbers, it was instinct at this point to block the curse flying at him from the frustrated teen, and he didn't give any indication that he heard the shouts.

Godrick was fuming, his chest felt like it was going to explode he ran after the other boy and to the Ravenclaw table where he was seated.

"STOP IGNORING ME!"

harry was chewing the bite he had just managed to snag.

"LOOK AT ME!"

the entire hall was silent everyone waiting with baited breaths.
harry turned around and had no emotion on his face.

"I'm your twin it doesn't matter that you are not a potter you can't ignore me!"

his voice cracked when he said ignore.
Harry sighed.

"honestly your family doesn't matter to me anymore Godrick, we are in different houses different classes and I am not your twin anymore, you need to focus on your happiness and your life, don't let your parent's foolishness keep hurting you, all you need to do is let go, you have done it before you need to do it again, go be with your real family because I can't be your crutch forever "

Godricks heart fell to his stomach and his chest felt like it would implode felt like it was sucking in on itself.

the boy ran away and found himself on the astronomy tower.

he touched his cheek and looked at the wetness on his fingers.

his chest was crushing him until a loud sob tore from his throat.

Godrick sobbed and cried loudly alone on the roof, Ronald had stayed to finish his food and couldn't find the teen.

the boy cried for the affection he lost when harry was revealed as the boy who lived, he cried for losing his brother and a deep part of himself cried over the memory of the first time he had thrown his brother to the wind for his parent's attention.
"they don't love me because I'm not the boy who lived"

the boy stayed there well into the night before he returned to the tower.
