harry sat in the great hall observing, everything was silent his own table was empty all except for himself Hufflepuff only had a few very confused people and Slytherin was empty, Gryffindor was the only one with an almost full table and the staff looked frantic.

hundreds of students gone in only an hour.
the teen blinked slowly he supposed he did feel a little guilty for letting the dark lord think it was Dumbledore that did the attacks, mostly because he loved Hogwarts itself and didn't want it destroyed, this sight currently was quite amusing, he hadn't realized just how many of the students he had taken under his protection.

harry ate slowly while the staff table had muted arguments, the students looked concerned, the majority of Gryffindor was worried, and some seemed more interested in eating and didn't appear to have a care in the world.

his brother looked afraid, he didn't know why he would be afraid but he was white as a sheet and didn't touch the food, his parents were too busy shouting at the staff table.

harry faintly noted paint on the boy's cheek, harry was pleased that the boy had mellowed and left him alone, which was why he didn't mind looking over the other student now.
Harry didn't have much time for thought after that, there was a panic as filch ran in.

"Headmaster an army approaches!"

Dumbledore stood and moved swiftly not quite running to go and see, and harry was one of the many students who stood and followed.
the hoard of death eaters was immense they had giants and other creatures mixed in and on the hill at the most dramatic spot stood Voldemort.
Mcgonagle ran and enabled the defenses while the headmaster stared down the dark lord.

"ah the hypocrite lord of the light, I didn't think you had it in you to murder, or even order your precious order to do it, all these years of stunning hexs, and finally you show your true colors"

the old man frowned.

"I would never condone killing tom, I do not know of what you speak"

the man scoffed.

"last night you raided several of my bases and slaughtered all of my followers there, see how he lies?"

he turned halfway through talking to address his minions.

"the fabled light lord exposed!"

the army jeered and harry watched impassively.

"I will hear no more of your lies! it is time I ended your reign and created our utopia!"

with a deranged scream, the snake man spurred his minions into action.
they charged at the shields and cast spells trying to break it.
inside there was scrambling to get children to safety and call in the order.
harry walked through the halls determined he walked to and mounted nero, and waited, voldemort would break most of his army upon Hogwarts and then his people would be ready to swoop in and end it.
