Gotta Go Fast

My Name is Sonic

the streets of  Oylesall was disturbed by the sound of loud explosions as a large drone ship chased a teenager through the streets. the teen ran superspeed as he leapt over cars and slid under a truck missed the lasers being fired at him. 

so, I know what you're thinking. why is that incredibly handsome guy being chased by a madman with a moustache from the civil war? well, to be honest. it feels like I've been running my whole life.

the boy kept running as he grips a neckless chain with golden rings on it around his knuckles as he turned a corner of the streets. 

is this too much? am I going too fast? it kind of what I do. you know what? let's back up. 

our story started in a futuristic city named Northogmum City. the streets were quiet as the wind blew in the air. until a hooded by speeds across the streets with his superspeed.

this is the city were I'm from. it was perfect. tasty food, well-taught schools, public access to teleportation. but then I was taken from us. 

the boy came to a stop and hid behind a wall as a drone scans the area, the boy stayed quiet until the drone left and he continued his journey. 

it was taken from us by a madman who hunted people like me for his experiment, no one made it out there alive. so we went into hiding, but some of us didn't make it. 

the boy kept running till he hears the sound of someone screaming. he stops and looks around till he saw some guards dragging a boy away, he know that boy was like him and couldn't let that mad man kill another person. the hodded boy used his super speed to knock both the guards out before helping the boy up. " go, hide" he said before the boy used his teleport power to get away. the hodded boy sigh before continuing his journey. 

I was given extraordinary powers and was told to keep them secret. but one day I wasn't careful enough. 

the boy ran into his hideout as he placed his backpack on the ground. he stopped and saw on a chair as a winged woman sighs and turns to face him. the woman was dressed in golden and dark brown feathers clothes as the wings were also the same colours. 

that's longclaw, she looks out for me. she was basically obi-wan Kenobi ... if Obi-wan Kenobi had wings and ate mice. 

" sonic, someone could have seen you," longclaw said in worry, sonic scoffs as he sat up in his chair, " don't worry. no one saw me I'm too fast! and I wanted to give you this" sonic said before pulling out an owl teddy for her, it looked old and dirty but longclaw smiled at the gift. but before she could take it out of sonics hand she hears the sound of guns being activated. " get down!" he called out as she talked sonic to the ground and flipped a table over for cover as guns were fired at them. sonic looked as he saw the owl teddy turn into ash from the electric ammo, he gasps in shock as he realized who was there. 

turns out, with great power comes a great power-hungry bad guy.

then a man dressed in black walked in as he watched from above as his men kept firing at longclaw and sonic. 

and I let him right to us. 

longclaw looked at sonic who tried to hold himself together. " sonic, go fast" she called to before jumping out of cover and using her wings to force the guards down to the ground. sonic knew he had time, he used his super-speed to grab his backpack and ran out the door into the dark wet streets. " get him" the man called out to eh guards as longclaw kept fighting them off. 

sonic kept running and running till he hears something from his backpack fall out, he stops and turns to see a little bunny teddy on the wet ground, " no." he said quietly and he ran to it. he got to his knees and picked it up, his mind started to show flashbacks of his past until he hears something falling towards him. he looked up and saw longclaw land on the ground in pain, " Longclaw!" he said as he ran to her and help her up. he looked at her wing to see some parts burned and bleeding, " you're wings" he said in shock. she nodded before they both gasp as they hear guards something their way. longclaw grabs sonic's shoulders making him face her, " sonic, listen carefully. you have a power, unlike anything I have ever seen. and you know he will stop at nothing to get it. the only way to stay safe, is to stay hidden." longclaw said before ripping golden ring off her necklaces and throws it behind her, and a golden portal opens revealing a dark forest in front of them. " this world is on the far side of the universe, you should be safe there." she said. sonic shakes his head, " I'm not leaving you here, he'll kill you." he said. " or he'll kill you worse than what he did to your family." longclaw said as sonic gasps in fear of the memory. " you must go" longclaw said before letting go of sonic and placing her neckless in his hands and closing his parm. " these rings will be your most important possession. if you're ever discovered, use them. never stop running". longclaw said. 

sonic held back tear and he hugs longclaw with a tight grip, " thank you" he said as longclaw hugged back before she looked up and saw guards coming their way. " now go" she said as she moved sonic behind her, sonic didn't move in fear as longclaw yelled out, " GO!". sonic snapped out of his trance and took off running through the portal. but something in the back of his mind told him to go back, he looked behind her and saw the guards lined up in front of longclaw guns aimed at her, " longclaw!" sonic yelled out as he used and his might and power to get back to her. as he kept running her saw the portal starting to close as longclaw looked back to him, " goodbye, sonic" she said as sonic kept running, " no" he said with tears in his eyes as the portal closed and the sound of gunfire faded int he background. " no!" sonic yelled out as he tripped on his feet and fell to the dirt ground. sonic takes deep breaths in anger and sadness as the sound of thunder filled his ears. he felt the cold rain hit his skin and he sat up on his knees and looked down at the neckless in his hands as the anger filled him before he let out a scream of anger. 

"NO!!!!!"
