The Only Thing

Chapter 7

Alison's POV

I'm in a hospital bed, I can see everything, and hear everything, but I can't move or talk. Cameron visits me everyday and I can't talk to him, but he talks to me. He really misses me and I have tried to move and wake up, but I can't.

Cameron's POV

It's been 2 weeks since Alison passed out and their about to pull the plug, but we asked for 5 more days, they agreed but said only 5 more. I walked in and grabbed her hand. "Alison, you only have 5 more days, if you don't wake up, their gonna pull the plug. I can't loose you that fast I need you, your like oxygen I can't live without you, please wake up." I left the room, I have been a wreck, ever since she was in coma. I don't leave the hospital, I sleep in the waiting room or Alison's room.

*5 days later*
It's the last day she has to wake up. I gave her a kiss and said "Alison, I love you, I can't loose you today is the last day their giving you, if you don't wake up by 10pm their done. You can't let them do that. I can't live without you. I'm a wreck right now. I need you. Please. Wake up. I don't wanna loose you." I started crying. I grabbed her hand.

Her hand squeezed my hand. I looked at her and her eyes opened. "Cameron, I love you too." I smiled and hugged her. "Alison. You woke up. Thank you. I don't what I would have done without you." She started crying. I ran out of the room and yelled "She's awake! She's awake."

They all ran in and I called my mom. "Mom, she's awake, hurry come." I hung up and went in to her room. The doctor called me outside. "She's allergic to nothing, it's just how her body reacted to the virus, you guys can leave tomorrow morning." I nodded and went into the room.

"We can leave tomorrow morning." She nodded and kissed my check. I smiled and did the same. It was already midnight and she yawned and fell asleep on my lap. I woke up and Alison was still sleeping. I called my mom. "Mom, can you bring Alison some clothes. Get her something nice, I wanna take her to the fair in town." I hung up and Alison was waking up.

"Wanna do something fun today?" She nodded. I told her "Were gonna go to the fair." "What's that?" She asked. "You'll see," she giggled. My mom came into the room and gave her the clothes, she went into the restroom and changed. I have a surprise for her I got her a new charm the shape of a Ferris wheel. I'm gonna give it to her when we're at the top of the Ferris wheel at the fair.

She came out in a floral skirt, with a mint top and a sleeveless jean vest. She also had her white chucks on. I changed into some tan shorts and a red shirt, with my red vans. My mom checked Alison out and I drove her to the fair. We arrived and she had a huge smile on her face. I grabbed her hand and payed for our tickets in.

We went on a bunch of rides and I won her a big bear. "You hungry?" She nodded and I got us mozzarella sticks which she hasn't tried yet. Once the food was ready I got it and took it to our table. "These are mozzarella sticks, dip them in ranch there the best." She nodded and tried it. A smile appeared on her face and I knew she liked it. "This is amazing" I smiled "I told you." It was about 8:30 and it was time to give her the surprise.

"Come on let's go on the Ferris wheel." She smiled and I grabbed her hand and we waited in line. We got to the front and we got on the road and they closed the door and started the ride. I hugged Alison and when we got to the top it stopped. "Why did it stop?" "Oh it always does that it's so people can get out." She nodded and looked out at the moon. It was big and beautiful.

"Alison," she looked at me and smiled "Yeah" "I have something for you, do you remember our first and second kiss." She nodded and I continued. "Do you still have that charm braclet." She nodded and showed me. "Here" I held out two charms, one was a skateboard and the other was a boat the titanic boat.

Alison's POV

We were at the top of the Ferris wheel and I was looking out at the moon, it was beautiful. Cameron called me and held out two charms. They were from are first and second kiss, one was shaped like a skateboard and the other was the titanic boat. I smiled and held out my wrist with the braclet. He clipped both of them on.

I stared into his beautiful big brown eyes, he put his hand on my check and put a hair behind my ear. I put my hand on his shoulder and we both leaned in. This was a different kiss, I felt so many sparks, and at that moment I knew I had a crush on Cameron Dallas. The Ferris wheel started moving and we leaned back. He held out his hand with another charm it was a Ferris wheel. He clipped it on and I smiled.

The ride ended and I grabbed his hand, we walked to the car and I laid my head on my shoulder. We jammed out to the radio and we arrived home. "Cameron, I had an amazing time today, thanks." He smiled and so did I. We walked in and went upstairs. I changed into pjs. I got into bed and I fell asleep on Cameron's chest and I knew I had a crush on him.
