I typed away at my computer, glancing at one of my other monitors to some messages from my brother. He was always out doing whatever heroes do nowadays, making me smile.

Ranboo was always working so hard. It made me kind of sad when he wasn't home, but he was doing it for a good reason.

But he was one of the more known 'heroes'. Im just a vigilante that helps him out behind the scenes. I eyed the messages again, turning to the monitor fully.

"hey y/n! i'll be home soon, tubbo is coming to visit so be ready haha"

I groaned, running my gloved hands through my hair. a few locks of black and white hair fell through my fingers as I scratched my head. Both I and Ranboo had matching black and white pieces of hair, although most of my hair was h/c.

I never understood why, but apparently we were just born with it.

Tubbo was another hero Ranboo always worked with- Probably because they were "platonically married" and have known eachother since, like, forever. Tubbo always bossed me around to help them with things as if i wasn't only a year younger than him.

I looked at my main monitor, saving what I had written on a document so far and shutting off my computer. The usual sound of our apartment door opening rang out through our flat.

"Y/n! We're back!"

Ranboo yelled, Tubbo talking in the background.

"yeah, i heard you already- saw your messages too. how'd today's patrol go?"

I answered as he walked into my room, Tubbo walking past through the hall while taking off the black and yellow gas-mask he always wore during his work.

"Went as usual, got a bit battered up though. Tubbo almost fell off of a roof!"

He laughed as if Tubbo didn't almost die, making me roll my eyes as I opened one of my desk drawers to get a first- aid-kit out.

"cmon, take off your mask already. you'll make it smell sweaty, and that shit is hard to wash."

He hesitated, taking off the full-face mask and shaking out his hair. I never understood how he could see in that damn thing.
