Chapter 3: His third text

It was night, Sunoo was lying down in exhaust of the assignments he finished. Jungwon entered with a bright face while asking , "Sunooshi, what should I cook for dinner right now?" Sunoo smiled and exclaimed , "Oh yea, curry, since it's your favourite!"

Sunoo scrolled down his phone further and checked Instagram. He blocked some usernames, who were related to his ex, Joonyoung.  He checks his dm and gets a notification.

                              Oh hello Nishimura

                                            Yes I'm fine

Sunoo gave a voiced call to Ni-ki. He accepted.

"Hi" Ni-ki said.

"Hello" Sunoo greeted as well.

"I hope you're doing well." Ni-ki said.

"Aww thank you, you too." Sunoo awed.

"So? Can we be friends, like get closer." Ni-ki asked.

"Oh uh, we just met today. We can be friends, later on we can probably get closer and chat more, if you're a good friend." Sunoo said.

"Oh then it's fine. Don't worry I won't hurt you and I trust you." Ni-ki said.

"Umm why do you like me?" Sunoo got embarrassed while saying this.

"Wait what? No I just like you as a friend nothing more." Ni-ki blushed but he was relieved Sunoo didn't see.

"So, Joonyoung is your ex right, if I'm being personal?" Ni-ki asked.

"Oh yes, and?" Sunoo said.

"Why did he break up with you?" He asked again.

Sunoos eyes were filled with trauma and tears, he sniffled but then he tried his best to not cry and say,

"Oh, he just cheated on me five times."

" No need to cry, it's fine if you don't even tell me!im really sorry for asking that." Ni-ki felt miserable for asking that question to the older, he tried to apologise to him.

"No no it's fine, that's experience. I hope you can learn that people from this world don't take dating seriously and just take love as a joke. I don't want you to date at a young age of sixteen you know?" Sunoo explained and stated what he asked Ni-ki to do since he wanted Ni-ki to be on the right path.

"I haven't dated anybody. Actually I used to have a crush. I was very possessive inside for him, but he kept on breaking my heart by not realising my feelings for him. It's fine now, I realised I shouldn't use my time over someone who just thinks of me as a best friend and not someone romantic."Ni-ki also explained, his mood kind of went down and frowned too as well.

"I'm glad you have dodged a bullet Ni-ki, once you grow old be wise with dating. Joonyoung was very suspicious at times, so I knew it he would cheat on me. We dated for a year but yet at last he treated me like shit." Sunoo said.

"Really? Joonyoung was my best friend. Maybe let's just say he never told me he dated you or something. First he used to be obsessed with me but later on he just ditched me for some other cooler people." Ni-ki implied on his opinion.

"Oh yes, Joonyoung never had true friends, he's very fake." Sunoo stated.

"Maybe our friendship can last long!" Sunoo exclaimed.

"Ah yes." Ni-ki replied.

"Maybe I can help you- move on over Joonyoung and maybe you can help me move on over my ex crush." Ni-ki continued.

"Sure, you already seem so kind and caring to me, Nishimura." Sunoo smiled, he smiled like a sunshine.

"Aww thank you. Will take that as a compliment." Ni-ki blushed since there were shades of pink on his cheek.

"This is the first day and we're already talking so much for the day today!" Sunoo said.

" I know right but as an extrovert, I do that often. I really like talking and socialising you know." Ni-ki elaborated.Sunoo just nodded and listened.

"I'm more of a silent person , I don't  want to unintentionally hurt anybody so I don't say anything." Sunoo looked back and said.

"You were never quiet Kim Sunoo" Ni-ki thought to himself then spoke "Ohh, it's fine it's fine, that's how people usually are."

"Ddeonu! Come here for dinner." Jungwon called out.

"Oh let's just close this call today Nishimura, nice to meet you." Sunoo smiled and bidded.

"Sunooshi, nice to meet you too. See you tomorrow." Ni-ki said and then cut the call.
