Chapter 44: forty fourth offer

Fresh Tuesday, Ni-ki devouring a morning breakfast with a tray on their bed, served by Sunoo. It was quiet eerie to his notice, since they always have dinner at the dining table.

Sunoo had another list to strike out. It was just for Ni-ki. He had some things to please Ni-ki before he does it. Before he finally finds the right time to tell it.

He entreated Ni-ki to take a holiday. It took a lot of coaxing and cajoling for him to do it since work was extremely essential,according to Ni-ki. He finally took one so that he could know what Sunoo was behind for.

First, he took him on a date like usual. He took him to his old house, which was besides the beach. "Huh? This place reminds me of a lot of memories." Ni-ki was confused why he is taking him on a date there again.

"You'll soon know, just connote the meanings." Sunoo smiled. As they went further inside, Ni-ki spotted a large television. Back when they visited there, it never came to existence. He felt suspicious of the events that were going to take place.

When it was afternoon, Sunoo asked Ni-ki for his permission to invite his other friends. "If it was supposed to be a date then why are they there. Anyways since your my darling, I don't mind them." Ni-ki responded with showering him a kiss. "Aight I'll call them." Sunoo said.

After he invited them, he cooked lunch for seven. It included carbonara pasta with white sauce, loaded with green vegetables. Ni-ki was a like a helping hand to him. He instructed and made amendments in the cooking.

Arrival was included with small hugs and pats. All of them were settled, eating lunch. They decide to brag about their lives again. "So, how has job been?" Jake asked Ni-ki. "Wonderful. Except for this Sunoo bragging me to spend time with him. Example today, he legit forced me to take a holiday for a date we have visited multiple times before. Boring, right?" Ni-ki bragged. Jake internally smiled because he knew what Sunoo was all behind. Infact, they all took holidays because of that reason.

"Sunoo, what are y'all plans for today's date?" Jungwon curiously asked, pretending to not know what was going to happen. "Oh, we will just go to beach during evening and we can reminiscence the past that took place three years ago. We can play volleyball if you guys wish." Sunoo shared his plan out. "We can have dinner here, right?" Jay asked a doubt again, making it seem less suspicious. Sunoo nodded.

Evening passed followed by a game of volleyball, dodgeball, football and surfing.

"You can't deny that I'm good at football!" Ni-ki exclaimed right after he got beaten up playfully, by his boyfriend. "Stop bragging! It'll make it worse even more!" Sunoo sighed and sat down on the sand. Ni-ki apologised to him and sat down besides him.

"Forget that, do you remember when we both splashed water at each other, and gave each other gifts?" Ni-ki asked. It was a quote Sunoo could relate. "Of course my love. These are the foundation to the love discovered between us." Sunoo replied. He then continued by asking, "Remember when we gifted each other rings and necklaces. I still haven't removed it since day one." Ni-ki even showed the old necklace he had it hanging around the neck, again remarking those with Sunoo.

"Shall we go inside?" Sunoo asked. "Aight." Ni-ki said. They went inside, just to find themselves next to that TV. Ni-ki found it eerie yet muddling.

It was dinner time, and chews were heard. A splatter of noise was generated. "Sunghoonieee! How's your relationship with Jakeyyy going." Heeseung smirked. "Oh him, what do u mean relationship. We are legit married. You didn't know?" Sunghoon spoke facts. Heeseung smiled and said that he had forgotten, silly him.

"Why is this Tv existing, it never was there before." Ni-ki commented, pointing it out on the television. "Oh, just for show, you know?" Sunoo gave a shrewd answer. Ni-ki believed in his answers and no more felt doubted.

Right when midnight ticked, when the guys left, leaving Sunoo and Ni-ki alone. The two just decided to binge watch Netflix since they had nothing else to do. It was like a detox from work stress.

Sunoo turned on the Tv, which out of a sudden displayed a video edit. It was of all the combined pictures and videos the two took together.Ni-ki flinched in a nick of time, making the other one chuckle.

While the video was flashing, a voice appeared which was generated by the video itself.

"Several years passed by, I recollect an incidence of us bumping. My eyes dazzled at you, which was a sight for sore eyes. I made this video to you to express my feelings from the tugstrings of my heart." Sunoo's voice was heard.

"Huh, I've heard those words before." Ni-ki said. Sunoo continued to stare at his priceless  reaction.

"The day I encountered you, eight months ago, blushing was something I couldn't stop. From that day onwards, I showed a certain interest over you. Although it was out of my realisation, I was so mesmerised by your charms. The way you treated me better than him." It was recited once again.

"Stop crying over that Joonyoung. He isn't worth it." Ni-ki disgruntled. "I didn't cry over him, I was just telling about him!" Sunoo exclaimed.The video was then continued.

"Ni-ki, it has been exact three years since you've ever confessed. Didn't you know how much shock I was at,yet I was glad someone liked me back. I'm sorry if I was coward enough to not tell you back." The voice appeared once again.

"Aww it's okay. We both are dating so there is no problem anyways." Ni-ki responded to that video.

"Thank you for being there with me. Always loving me with your whole heart. Sometimes I wonder if I was ever a burden to you, if I was never able to grant what you wanted, since you loved me first. I'm sorry if I have caused all the troubles to you, just to let you know that I love you so much. Now go listen to what the Sunoo in front of you." The Sunoo in that vide expressed that with whole emotions, laughing in the end.

Ni-ki was blushing, staring at the screen with widest of his eyes. "I love you Sunoo. You will never ever bother me." He hugged him, pecking his lips.

"Ni-ki, there are some things I've always wanted to tell it out to you. You know how much you mean to me and how much of a special person are you to me?" Sunoo asked, looking at Ni-ki.It gave him light chills.

"Yes? More than that I love you separately. You stand out while no one does." Ni-ki shot his love message back at him.

"I know we've talked about this often and I feel it is finally the right time to do this." Sunoo said. Ni-ki wondered; what he would ask or do.

Sunoo got a small box, and got a small object out. He kneeled down, finally making Ni-ki guess what it was. He showed the ring, like a merchant wanting to sell their products.

"I may ask you for the first time or last time...Nishimura Riki, will you spend the rest of your life with me. Will you marry me...?"

Ni-ki's eyes were filled with tears, letting the older place the ring inside his ring finger. He grinned widely, fully ready for an answer.

"Yes!"
