Chapter 6 Life

Okay so I will extract an few sentences from the manga. And some parts are based on fruits basket.

"Kocho-san, please come out. Quick!"

It's been 8 years since Y/n met the lively group of friends. She has become spreally close to all of them, especially Muichirou. Both of them are like best friends of best friends and do a lot of things together. One reason was probably because Muichirou always stands up for her when she was bullied or comfort her when she needed. Both of them are an inseparable pair. The whole group entered the same junior high school. However despite being in different classes, they still hangout often and y/n opened up really quickly. The girl who was once shy, outcasts and indifferent was now a friendly and easy going young lady. Life was what y/n wanted it to be until one Wednesday.

Muichirou's Pov

It was during history class when y/n was suddenly called out of the classroom by the principal and Kanao. Y/n went out and when she heard what happened, she left immediately with Kanao. I saw the look she had in her eyes and it was not good, I excused myself and I ran out, only to meet up with the rest of the gang.

"Tanjirou, what happened?"

"Kanao said... her parents.."

"Quick lets go." Senjurou said, asking everyone to follow him. And I knew exactly where we were heading.

We arrived at the hospital and met up with all the Kocho sisters. It was a rainy day and the traffic took sometime. When we arrived, I could see what happened, clearly. 

"Kanae, what happened?" Nezuko asked worriedly. Kanae shook her head, then buried her face in her hands. Shinobu put her arms around her elder sister. Kanao stood there with an unreadable face. Suddenly, y/n broke down and dropped on her knees and started crying. I know now that this is when she need us, so I immediately ran forward and wrapped my arms around her. And then the rest did the same. She just sobbed and explained everything to us. Genya, Yuichirou, and Senjurou were helping Kanae and Shinobu, while Tanjirou, Aoi, Inosuke and Zenitsu were with Kanao. Me and Nezuko just hugged y/n while she cried.

"It's alright, it's alright." I whispered to her.

"It's alright now."

Y/n's parents died in a car accident because they were hit by a drunk driver. The hit had a huge impact on the car and some of the wires broke and the car caught fire. The rest is too painful to be said.

Now Kanae is in charge of the whole household. Her parents where rich businessmen so they left money for the girls. They would probably be fine on the outside, but I'm not sure of the inside. Kanae is trying her best to get over what happened. Shinobu now has a fake smile on the whole time. Kanao is still trying to get over it. And y/n just kept silence and didn't talk.

At all.

It must be difficult for her, she is still a 14 year old student and she have to go through all this. 

"What does life means?" She asked me a few days after the funeral, when both of us were alone in the gangs Secret Base behind the wisterias.(no dirty thoughts!!!) I stayed silence for a few minutes to think.

That never actually occurred to me before. What does it mean to live? Money? Luxury? Fame? No, that can't be right. Life is about happiness and love. Live to be happy. 

"Life is to be happy.  Thought there are hard and painful things, there were also good times. Find happiness not just with friends and families, you can find happiness in a lot of other things as well.  I'll leave that for you to search for it." With that, we just sat there, enjoying the silence between us.

So lemme ask y'all something. Do you like those obvious confessions or confessions covered by feelings. I feel cringed when I read my story draft with like straight I love you in it and I want to puke. I like more romantic and silenced confession where love is shared by feelings and the other knows it through "soulmate connection" Do you think that's better? And when I was trying to write the other chapters, I oso want to puke cuz it's so cringey. I feel like I'm writing about a girl who is desperate for love and that's the opposite of what I want because I want my character to grow, mature and find love. That's all. Urghhhh I need help. Anyways hope you enjoyed.
