Chapter 7 Not the same as before

Y/n's Pov

It's been 2 years since mom and dad's passing. Kanae have been better now and she found a new job at the junior high I'm attending as a teacher.  I'm currently in the same school as Kanao-neechan and Tanjirou-san. While Senjurou and Genya went to the school their elder brothers are teaching in, Nezuko, Yuichirou, Muichirou and I are in the same school. I worked really hard to get into the same school as them. It was worth it of course. And the good thing is, four of us are all in the same home room. 

I was really hoping that High school life would be like junior high school.

I hope.

And that's just a hope.

When we first entered high school, things were normal. Until around the 2nd week when the twins got hit by puberty like,

A truck.

(Yes I know it's quite late for puberty but talk about plot)

Yes and that took a huge turn in our lives.

Slowly and slowly, the twins seems to be more and more distant, leaving me and Nezuko alone. Was that supposed to be..normal?

Whenever the twins entered school, they would be surrounded by groups of people, asking for stuff or something. Muichirou and his brother both grew cold hearted, unlike what they were before. Apparently people think that they are either "cute" or "handsome" or both. I mean I can agree, but I think my Muichirou still looks the same as he was before. Wait what. My??? Nono that's not true!!! What am I thinking?

The real world

Y/n was waving her hand aggressively and was blushing hardly which made Nezuko confused.

Back to y/n.

To the real world once again.

"Earth to y/n?" Nezuko waved her hand in front of y/n, stopping her daydream.

"Hmmm, signs of love huh!?" Nezuko said jokingly with a sudden weird accent.

Y/n blushed madly. At the side, people were wondering if she was okay. Nezuko suddenly broke out of character and started laughing. Y/n just blinked.

"Tokito-kun!!! Would you g-" y/n turned to the source of the voice. A girl was in front of her best friend, Muichirou, holding out an envelope to him. But before she could finish talking, Muichirou rolled his eyes and walked away. Y/n suddenly felt a pain and clutched her clothes tightly. 

"Y/n!! Can you come to my house for sleepover today?" Nezuko suddenly asked y/n, which was replied with a nod. Nezuko skipped away to find Kanao.

Before y/n followed after Nezuko, she turned back to look at the long hallway, with Muichirou at the end. 

They were not just separated by the hallways, but also by emotions.

So yes we came to the sleep over.

"Hi girls! I'm sorry if this was sudden, but we haven't met Aoi in a long time so I decided that we have a sleepover!!" Nezuko said, taking a seat on her pink sleeping bag. "Oh yes, and just recently, y/n is into someone." Nezuko grinned slyly. All eyes turned to her and Y/n stiffened.

"Nezuko!! Don't spread fake news!!!"

"Who is it??" Aoi asked.

"Muichirou-kun of course."

"NEE-CHANNNN!!!!!!"

"C'mon y/n tell us why you like the most popular boy in school."

"Nezuko!!!! He is my best friend!!!!! Not my crush!!!"

"Hmm I understand he is not your crush. So he is your lover??" Nezuko joked.

"NEZUKOOOOO!!!!"

"Woah, what if he becomes my brother-in-law?"

" PLEASE STOP, CAN'T YOU SEE THAT HE ISNT THE SAME MUICHIROU AS BEFORE!!"

Everyone went silence.

"Hmm that's true, I was told to pass him a form from the teacher but he just glared at me and snatched the form away." Nezuko pointed out.

"What on earth gotten into him?" Aoi asked.

"Probably all the confessions and girls are stressing him out." Kanao stated. Y/n looked away and out of the window. The moon, the stars. She could remember the Muichirou who comforted her when she was in need. But now, what happened?

The pain she felt that morning started again. Y/n just clenched her pajamas and turned back to her friends. Suddenly she fell straight on her sleeping bag.

"PILLOW FIGHT!!" Nezuko yelled, whacking a pillow on Kanao's face.
