I slept peacefully. Fun dreams of fire swords, magical staffs, and-
"WAKE UP RUBY!!!!!"
I yelled as I jumped up, wide awake and looking around frantically. "What happened!? Did someone break in!? Do we need Crescent Rose?" Yang started laughing as I realized she was just being a jerk. I rolled my eyes and groaned as I fell back. "Yaaaang! Why?"
She chuckled, still calming down from her laughing fit. "Come on, we need to get ready. Get up lazy bones!" She grabbed my arms and lifted me onto my feet. I cried internally, the cold floor making my coziness fly out the window. Yang walked back to her room to get changed, and I begrudgingly stayed in my room to do the same.
We walked downstairs, ate breakfast (Yang started cooking, so not burnt!), and then headed to the academy. Briefly waving to each other, we split off sat in our original seats. Since nothing was happening, I decided to daydream. Yes, come back to me my beautiful weapons! I'll see you soon, I promise! When Iruka sensei walked inside, I started to pay attention. Dang it..
"Alright, the exam is pretty simple," he started. "I'm going to call your names based on seat order. You will go into practice room two, where Milluki sensei and I will be. We will give you a prompt and, if you manage to successfully pull it off, we'll give you your headbands. Any questions?" The room stayed silent. "Good, I'll start then." Iruka started called of a name, then left with said person. I groaned and layed my head on the desk boredly. After an eternity I was called, I ran to the exam room.
"Hey, Iruka sensei!" I smiled enthusiastically.
"Hello, Ruby! Okay, so all you have to do is make three clones," Iruka explained.
I nodded, still smiling, before getting serious. I put my hands together and concentrated, closing my eyes. After feeling my chakra activate, I peeked an eye open before I fully opened them. I saw about five me's looking at me. "Yess!" I said quietly, smiling.
"Great job! Now you can come and get your headband, congratulations!" I stiffly walked to the table, trying not to run or skip happily, and looked at the headbands, grabbing the one closest to me.
"Thanks, Iruka Sensei! See ya later!" I waved and left.
I walked outside and put my headband on giddily. Humming, I waited for Yang. She came out, right behind Sasuke. "So, uh, Sasuke, right? How's it?" She started talking. He didn't even glance at her as he shook his head and kept walking. I rolled my eyes and walked up to her, grabbed her arm, and pulled her all the way home.
Yang made us a little dinner, and then we went to bed. Tomorrow, we are getting assigned to teams. Speaking of teams, I hope Weiss and Blake are okay.
~~~~the next day~~~~
I quickly got dressed and ate breakfast (I want Yang's cooking T-T), then I went to wake Yang up. REVENGE!!!!! I thought it would be innocent, but when she turned to me with red eyes...I gulped and ran away. "OKAY, COOL, I'LL BE OUTSIDE, BYYYEEE!!"
She came outside, mood lifted, and we headed towards the academy. Walking inside we noticed that we were some of the first to arrive. We each sat down, I noticed people sat wherever they wanted today but felt more comfortable in my original seat. I think Yang just wanted to talk to Hinata. I rested my head on the desk, daydreaming about beautiful weapons~! My daydreams shattered when I heard the sound of someone pushing through the door. It was the pink haired girl and blond girl again. I looked back to the front of the class, and just waited patiently for Iruka to come in and tell us our teams, laying my head down again to reform my weapons~.
The two girls cleared their throats next to me, glaring at me. "Can I.. help you?" I asked.
"Yeah, you can move away from my Sasuke!" They yelled at the same time. As if wildfire, the group got bigger, filled with angry teenage girls. In the corner of my eye I saw Yang get up, but I looked at her and shook my head, and she knew what I meant. I can take care of myself! But..then they all pounced at me! I was going to grab crescent rose out of habit, but I didn't because I knew that would be too reckless. I put my hands up ready to block the attacks. A dark figure clouded my vision, and I heard all the girls gasp at whoever it was. I looked up to see Sasuke, who looked as surprised as I did at his actions. The girls stopped before they could hit him, and looked at him as if their hearts were broken and their souls were crushed. "The only reason we aren't going to hurt you, is because it obviously makes Sasuke-kun upset." The pink haired girl said snobbily. I rolled my eyes
