So different, yet so similar... (Naruto/RWBY) (UNDER EDITING)

And this is when the cringe (hopefully)  stops. Guess who learned to write!?  If you guessed me, then you're wrong! But seriously, the tone of the story should change from this point on, so, yeah. Read on mah doods.  I'm aware that my new editing (Bold is more current me if you haven't noticed, hi) may cause some issues with certain character plots (like Sakura and Ino). Still, I'm honestly just having fun with it at this point, since it's not very important in the world of fanfics. At least not to me-

I breathed heavily as I arrived near a large tree and see Sasuke and Naruto, both beaten pretty badly. They were sitting in a circle, discussing something.

As I approached, they were hesitant in believing it was me, understandably, but eventually began to explain the situation.

Sasuke and Naruto were attacking this guy and got beaten pretty badly. Naruto said he thinks he brought them to the current location but doesn't remember any details. He states it was all a blur. However, one thing he recalled is that they were attacked.

"It was like I couldn't control myself! I was completely numb!" He said, flailing his arms. "The people that attacked were starting to gain an advantage, they didn't even back down when everyone else showed up! That was when Sasuke woke up, covered in black marks and all broody. He broke one of the guy's arms, then they ditched! Like, you're not scared by a bunch of ninjas, but when someone's arm gets broken the line's crossed?"

"Wait, black markings?" I asked, looking at Sasuke. He glanced away, not responding. I took the hint and backed off with a smile. "Well, I'm just glad you guys are okay! I'm sorry I couldn't help, I had stuff to deal with, too, haha..." We sat together around that tree for a while longer, but it was getting late and soon we'd be shrouded in darkness. "I'm gonna go find some firewood. Maybe we can figure something out for that other scroll before this thing ends."

"I'll come along," Sasuke said, then stood and walked into the forest without another word.

We collected the wood in silence, not having anything we wanted to talk to each other about. Probably so in his case, at least. I had many questions I wanted to ask, but based on how he reacted when I got back I doubt he'd answer any of them.

Sakura was whining again. This time, it was actually getting on my nerves, so I excused myself to get some firewood for dinner. Sasuke also excused himself, walking with me time help.

We collected the wood with nothing too important happening, a few giant bugs here and there. When we got back to camp, the guy from before was sitting there, talking to Sakura and Naruto. I narrowed my eyes, then hid my distrust with my fabulous personality!

(Honestly, I want to get through this arc, so timeskip)

After much confusion and long battles with many flashbacks, we managed to just barely pass this phase. We were now lined up, preparing for the next task we must deal with. I glanced back at Sasuke with worry, wondering if I should speak up about him as they asked for anyone unwilling or unable to fight.

"Don't..." Sasuke grumbled to me. I looked at him, showing my concern.

"Then what do you want me to do!?" I quickly whispered back, only to be glared at by the taller male.

"I'll be fine, just focus on who you'll fight!" I looked down, my concern not leaving as he continued to glared ahead.

Eventually, the matchups we're posted. I widened my eyes at my apponent.

I have to fight YANG!?
