Chaeyoung's pov

I breath in and out as i went out of the elevator. I nervously walked towards Hyeri's office. I stopped at the door. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

Ms. Kim opened the door and let me in. I looked around, confused as to why Hyeri is not here.

"Ms. Kim, may i know why Ms. Lee isn't here?" I asked

"I'm guessing she didn't tell you since you don't know. She took a break tho I'm not sure why but her sister will temporarily take over as of now until she comes back" Taeyeon said and i nodded

I frowned and can't help but feel guilty that I may be the reason of her absence.

Someone opened the door that made us look at the person who opened it

I stared at her and thought about who this person is. I have never seen this girl in the company before.

"Ms. Lee you're here!" Taeyeon said as the said person went infront of us

"Ms. Park this is Ms. Lee Siyeon, she is Ms. Hyeri's sister. Ms. Lee this is Ms. Park Chaeyoung, Ms. Hyeri's secretary" Taeyeon introduced us to each other

"It's nice to meet you Ms. Park" Siyeon said and put her hand out to shake hands

"Nice to meet you as well Ms. Lee" I said and shook her hand

"I'll leave the both of you now. Ms. Lee if there's anything you need don't hesitate to call me. Same with you Ms. Park" Taeyeon said and left

I felt shy since Ms. Lee keeps staring at me. I don't know what to do so I just look down and scratch my not-so itchy nape.

Ms. Lee apologetically smiled at me when she noticed my actions

"I'm sorry about that" Siyeon said feeling flustered

She gestured me to sit so I did as she told me. She sat infront where Hyeri usually sit.

"So uhm...I hope you're okay with this but can i ask you a question?" Siyeon carefully said

"Sure, what is it that you want to ask about?"

"What is your relationship with my sister?" Siyeon asked

My eyes widened at her question. I didn't expect her to ask me about her sister.

"Were friends..." I said a little bit hesitant

"Nothing more than that?" Siyeon asked

"N-no of course not!" I denied

I bit my lip and looked down feeling embarrassed.

"Oh I'm sorry, I thought you were dating since she talks a lot about you to me" Siyeon said

"Really?" I asked, curious about what she talks about me

"Yup, I'm pretty sure that girl's in love with you" Siyeon said and chuckled

I awkwardly laughed at that. I know Hyeri likes me but loves me?? I'm not sure about that and I hope... it's not true.

Siyeon looked at me seriously. I gulped as i felt nervous under her stare.

"I'm sure you're aware that Hyeri likes you and I hope you'll give her a chance because she's willing to do everything for you" Siyeon said

I looked away feeling guilty again. I want to give her a chance but...I really don't have any feelings for her and I don't want her to waste her time pursuing me when I can't even return her feelings for me.
