"W-what did you just say?" I stuttered
I'm having mixed emotions right now. First, shocked because what the fuck did she just say to me?!?! And second hopeful that maybe...she still have a little bit of feelings towards me
"Uhh I mean I want you to stay with me and...help me find Joy! Yeah! That's what I meant" Chaeyoung laughed nervously and tried to look anywhere avoiding Jisoo eyes
But of course since Jisoo is a dense motherfucker she didn't notice Chaeyoung's nervousness
I sighed and moved my gaze on the road. I started the engine. Driving to Chaeyoung's house.
Of course she doesn't have feelings for you anymore Jisoo. Who are you to hope for something like that after you did THAT to her?
My grip tightened on the steering wheel as I felt my tears were threatening to escape
Don't cry Jisoo! You deserve this! You don't have the right to cry when you hurt the most important person in your life...
Chaeyoung's pov
I shifted on my seat feeling uncomfortable by the silence. I decided to use my phone to avoid this awkwardness and I badly want this to end already!

We arrived at my house. I stayed on the seat for a bit as I tried to make up my mind on what I want to do.
Should I tell Jisoo to come with me and my parents later? No! I probably shouldn't. Or maybe I should? Fuck I don't know!!!
"Earth to Chaeyoung!"
"Chaeyoung!"
"W-what?" I stuttered and faced her
"I kept calling you but you were deep in thoughts. Are you okay?" Jisoo asked looking at me worriedly
"Y-yeah I'm fine don't worry" I said and silence started take over
"I have-"
"I hope-"
We said at the same time that made us look at each other
"You should go first" Jisoo said but I declined
"No it's okay. You go first"
"No you should go first Chaeyoung" I rolled my eyes as she kept insisting
"God damn it Jisoo! Just say what you want to say already!" I snapped feeling frustrated
"Oh y-yeah of course!" Jisoo said nervously
"I-i hope you don't mind but I really have to go and pick Jennie up. You know since my parent's house is more than an hour ride" Jisoo said scratching her not-so-itchy nape while smiling shyly at me
"Oh I'm so sorry for taking your time! Why didn't you tell me earlier?" I asked feeling bad even more
"No it's okay! Were gonna have a family dinner and I still have time to go there since it's still a bit early and also...I wanted to spend time with you..." Jisoo smiled shyly her ears were turning a bit red so she covered it with her hands
I bit my lip to stop myself from smiling at her. She just look so cute right now especially since she's so red
"I-i should go now...I don't want to take more of your time" I said and was about to go out but she stopped me
"Wait! Didn't you have something to say as well?" Jisoo asked
I wanted you to come with me but I know you haven't seen your parents for how many months now. Because I know that If I tell you to stay, you will stay and you won't go on that family dinner with your parents.
"No forget about it It's not important! You should go and pick up Jennie. I'll go now" I smiled at her and went outside of the car
I sighed when I arrived infront of my door. I looked behind me and saw that Jisoo's car is still there. I furrowed my eyebrows and thought what's taking this girl so long to leave.
The car window opened
She looked at me smiling ear to ear and shouted
"Bye Chaeyoung! I'll see you tomorrow!" After she shouted that she left
I smiled unknowingly looking at the car disappearing before my eyes

I'm in the hospital right now with my parents. I glance at her for a bit and lowered my head.
How could I doubt them?? The person who took care of me ever since I was little until now...
You are an idiot Chaeyoung!
I look at her and she smiled at me
"Mom and Dad, you know what? We don't have to do this. I trust that you're saying the truth and I'm sorry for doubting you..." I look down feeling guilty
"Chaeyoung look at me" Mom said and I didn't do it
She sighed and held my chin to make me look at her
"It's okay darling. You don't have to say sorry and were already here might as well do it right? You never know maybe I'm not your real mother" Mom teased me and I pouted at her
"Mom!" I whined
"And maybe I'm not your real father as well" Dad smirked at me and chuckled
I glared at them pouting even harder
"We love you Chaeyoung. Always remember that" Mom said and hugged me and my dad
"I love the both of you too"
