I stared at myself in the mirror trying to calm myself down.
"You can do this Jisoo! You can do this..."
Ugh! Who am i kidding? I can't do this!!!
I heard my doorbell ringing so I went out of my room, walking towards the door
What kind of person would visit at 6 PM?? That's already night time.
I opened the door and was confused when I saw Joy
"What are you doing here?" I asked
"What? Can I not visit you anymore?" Joy said
"It's not that- aish! Whatever. You should go home"
"What?! I just got here!" Joy whined and she glared at me
"Look. I'm sorry but I'm going somewhere" I said
"Where?" Joy asked
"At Chaeyoung's place. Her dad invited me for dinner"
"And Chaeyoung's okay with that?" Joy asked
"Yes...by the way I'm planning on telling her parents about what I did" I said and let out a deep breath
Joy's eyes widened. She glanced at me, worried written on her face.
"Don't worry, I'll be okay. I'm not going to hide this anymore. I'm not going to be a coward" I reassured her and she nodded
"J-just be careful...okay?" Joy said nervously
I just smiled at her
"I'll get going now. Enjoy your time at the Park's"
She was about to leave but I caught her wrist and turned her around. She looked at me confused
"How about you? Are you not going there to meet your sister?" I asked
I saw her panicked for a bit but she quickly composed herself that I almost didn't notice the panic in her eyes
"Uhm...I don't think that's a good idea Jisoo. Chaeyoung may not want me to be there" Joy said
I quickly let go of her wrist and apologized to her
"Shit! You're right. I'm sorry"
"It's okay Jisoo. I'll get going now" Joy smiled at me and left
I look at my phone and saw that it's almost 7pm. My eyes widened. I quickly went out, close and lock the door, and went inside my car and started the engine
I'm praying for myself to survive...
