Wow, okay.... it's been 10 days since I updated this book. Sorry, but if you want someone to blame, blame my teachers, they've been piling on the homework for the past two weeks and I've never really found any time to write.

*Ahem* The real reason I've been away this long is because I've been reading Miraculous Ladybug fanfictions and AU's. They're just too good!!!

I'm already planning to write my own ;)

Anyway, let's pick up where we left off shall we?

November 20

0100 hours

Erica and Catherine's eyes widened in surprise as they saw him.

Joshua looked horrible. Not that he looked particularly good the last time I saw him, which was when he fell off the Eiffel Tower. How the hell did he survive?

All that was left of him was a head and his left arm, the rest was automation. I could tell because he was shirtless and proudly showing off his metallic chest, it gleamed in the light.

He zeroed in one me and grinned that cocky grin of his.

"What's wrong Ben? Surprised to see me?"

I was surprised I still had a voice, the sight of him was awful.

"H-how?" I asked in a small voice.

At this, the man, who was apparently his father, laughed.

"The organization I built over the past 50 years has many resources in almost any country." He said boldly, "And the technology we've created in that time is," His eyes gleamed, "extraordinary."

Catherine spoke up, "What do you want from us? Information?"

He laughed again, "Information?" He repeated, "We have all the information we need. The computers that I personally build are more than capable of hacking any government equipment. No, this is not about what I want. This is about what Joshua wants."

Joshua cut his father off at this, "I want you all to suffer for what you did to me, both physically and mentally." He shot me a writhing look. "Especially you Ben. So...."

He clapped his hands and a giant black screen lowered from the ceiling.

"Oh wait," Joshua's dad said like he forgot something, which I highly doubt. "We need to have everybody here."

Those were obviously code words, because the second he said that, a door opened and two guards came in holding two people by their hands.

I glanced at the two prisoners and got a good look at their faces.

It was Trixie and Mike. Shit.

Erica's eyes widened and she looked like she wanted to murder everyone in this room that wasn't us.

Daddy Hallel chuckled happy at our reaction, "Now we can get this party started."

"Excuse me," I started, my manners coming back to me despite myself. "But what should we call you?"

The middle aged man stopped mid laugh and pondered this, muttering to himself under his breath.

"Hmmm, I didn't plan this, maybe Mr, Hallal? No no, that would be weird seeing as we're enemy's. Maybe a code name? Yes that's it."

He straightened his back and cleared his throat. "Call me ummm, call me Mr.... H. Yes yes I like that name."

We all rolled our eyes at the same time, even Joshua.

"Seriously dad, can't you come up with something original? What kind of name is that?"

"It doesn't matter, I like that name and I'm sticking with it. I am a genius after all. Anyway, where were we? Oh, I remember."

The giant screen suddenly came to life and I saw two entirely different places. The left side showed Mike's house and the other showed the house my parents just moved into not too long ago.

Mike visibly paled and I wasn't sure I was doing so well either.

This was happening again, and this time, Mike's parents were in danger too.

"Do-don't do anything to them, they didn't touch you." Mike stammered, while Catherine and Trixie gave us both sad looks, already guessing what was going to happen.

I knew what was going to happen too, I just refused to except it. The bad guys weren't going to stop just because we tell them to, no amount of begging, crying and screaming was going to change their mind.

Mr. H came straight up to his face, "I'm not going to do anything to them," he said, his voice deadly soft. "But my creations might."

I gulped, remembering the cages we saw before we got captured. "Y-your creations?" I asked.

"Yes, I took years to perfect them. The chemicals I stole from the CIA was the final ingredient, the secret ingredient."

I turned my head back to the screen just in time to see three vans drive up to each of the houses. The vans were shaking violently.

Looking back, I wished I closed my eyes. Because the horrors I saw when the drivers opened the door and released the creatures was immeasurable.

The worst part about them were they looked like humans, but have long since been dead and returned to their animal instincts.

They ran on all fours and charged towards the two houses.

All of us watching with eyes wide, they crashed through the door and windows and in seconds, we heard screams. Then silence.

There was no sound being made on both ends now, me and Mike were too shocked to speak.

Then out of the houses, came our parents on all fours and eyes pearly white, just like the rest of them.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mr. H take out a remote and pressed a button.

The-, things shook their heads wildly and spread out in all directions. Towards more victims.

The reality of what I just witnessed sank into me like a knife.

Zombies, that's what he created, zombies.

Okayyyy, so updates are going to be a lot less frequent. As I was writing this, I realized I have lost a lot of interest in SS. I don't know if I'll get that interest back, but until then, updates are going to be slow.

Keep in mind that I won't discontinue this book, I will finish it eventually even if it kills me, because I hate it when authors leave books unfinished.

With that, I apologize for the sloppy chapter and goodbye.
