Warnings: mentions of drinking, swearing

...................................................................

"My money is on (Y/N)", Rudy said as he laid $5 on the glass table in the middle of the couches we were all sitting at.

After a busy day of filming, the cast decided to go out and have some fun despite the fact that everyone felt tired, but the need to enjoy our time together in Charleston was stronger.

I called Rudy out for spilling a bit of the drink on the shot glasses when he hit the dollar bill on the table, only for Madison to team up with him, already a bit tipsy and laughing at her own jokes.

"Don't worry (Y/N), baby, you're gonna win this either way, it's just a drop."

So, it wasn't a secret among the cast that I had never gotten drunk before in my life and everyone seemed to be incredulous about it when they first found out so, since then, they all have tried to get me drunk everytime we went out, but never succeeded. Tonight they decided to play a different card and go for bets: see who could drink the most, faster. Drew had volunteered to compete against me, him being the one most eager to meet my drunk persona, as he once said.

"So, here's how this gonna work." Rudy started explaining, "Out of these fifteen shots, whoever drinks the most under twenty seconds, wins. Got it?"

"Yup."

"Got it."

Drew and I nodded in understanding.

"Ok, timer is ready," Maddie said, holding her phone to control the time, "You two start on three, Chase will count Drew's shots and JD counts (Y/N)'s. Here we go, three, two, one, start!"

And from then on, a mess started on that spot, in the corner of the club.

I could feel liquid dripping from my chin, probably staining my shirt and my grip on the shot glasses becoming weaker due to the speed I was downing the shot and the drink being spilled over my hands too. I tried not to pay attention to Drew or how many shots he had drank, focusing solely on not dropping any glass. Madison was almost screaming in my face in excitement, the alcohol from earlier clearly showing the effect it had on her. JD excitedly counted the empty glasses in front of me but I couldn't really hear him, his voice getting lost in the loud cheering of our friends.

"Time's up!", Maddie's voice made us stop and the second I put down the last glass I swore I was seeing stars. I wasn't a fan of shots, so to drink that many so fast definitely took a tool on me and if that didn't made me drunk, I don't know what would at that point.

"Who won, who won?", Madison shouted, tapping JD on the shoulder repeatedly.

"(Y/N) has eight glasses!"

"You won, you won!", and before I could process, Madison jumped on my lap and hugged me tight, making everyone else laugh when she almost fell.

"Here's your $5, miss." Rudy grabbed the bill and threw it at me, like he was "making it rain on me".

I finally took a look at the boy on my left who was actually standing exactly like I was: leaning back on the couch, a hand holding his head and trying not to laugh at the scene our friends were making. Drew glanced at me too and smiled, holding a hand up to high five me, but Madison was quicker and did it for me, making the both of us laugh at her. Bailey finally got out of my lap after JD grabbed her hand to lead to the dancefloor, saying that the song playing was their jam. My brain was still processing all the alcohol that had entered my system so I couldn't think straight, I barely felt Drew's head falling on my shoulder but his words made me uknowledge his close presence.
