She wasn't sure what had woken her up: the chirping birds or the cold breeze hitting her bare arms. (y/n) didn't need to open her eyes to know she was alone in bed, the absence of the already so familiar arms that usually held her the entire night being confirmation of that. She moved a bit to cover herself up with the blanket to block the breeze from her goosebumps filled arms and nuzzled a bit more against the mattress and the pillow, blanket up to her chin. The sliding door leading to the balcony was shut, muffling the singing of the birds and planting a cozy quietness in the room. (y/n) sighed in content and listened carefully to the steps coming closer to the bed at a chilled pace. No rush.
Nothing about that weekend was rushed, the short getaway was meant to rest and for the couple to just enjoy each other's company with no interruptions, no responsibilities.
The mattress dipped with Drew sitting on it, careful not to wake her up. The boy held his weight over his elbow as he took a moment to admire his sleeping girlfriend. Her hair was a mess, wild, it suited the way they spent the previous night exploring every corner of the bed. The soon to be dark stains on her neck and collarbone reminded him of how much passion he felt as his mouth made love to her skin and how mind blowing it was to have her hold onto him like he was the only thing keeping her alive. She kept him alive that night, like he could live for eternity as long as she would be there, under him.
Drew leaned closer and kissed her cheek so lightly it felt more like another rush of the morning breeze on her skin. (y/n) wanted to go back to his arms and have his body warm her up instead, but she was still too tired and too sleepy to move, so she stayed put and pretended to still be asleep. His lips pressed onto her cheek again before moving up to her temple, taking a few seconds there. Then it moved down close to her ear, then lower to the spot where her jaw met her neck and then hovered over the bruise made by the same lips that, this time, so gently rubbed against it.
"That tickles."
Her unexpected voice was met with a chuckle and Drew nuzzled his face in her neck, making her roll on her back on the mattress with the sudden weight over her. His hands roamed her blanket covered waist, traveling up until his arms were framing her head, holding his weight in his elbows. The girl's eyes remained closed, still not ready to face the day and actually enjoying how vulnerable she allowed herself to be with Drew. She felt like he could do anything he wanted with her and she would let him. She was all his.
"It's time to wake up, sleeping beauty."
"No it's not. " she answered, her eyes still shut.
"You tired?"
"Yeah."
Drew nuzzled his head again against her neck, leaving a wet and deep kiss on her bruised skin.
"Was it that good?"
She chuckled and lightly smacked his back, letting her hand then roam up his naked back, her nails barely scratching his muscles leaving shivers behind, until it reached the back of his head and her fingers laced with his hair.
"You know it was."
He hummed, biting her neck playfully. (y/n) started to move both her hands along his body, from his hair, to his neck, down his back and brushing the hem of his boxers, only to slide up again and entangle his equally messy hair again. With his face still buried in the neck, he grabbed her hands and pinned them against the pillow over her head. Drew looked up at his girl, eyes still closed and a smirk threatening to appear on her lips. He couldn't hold back his smirk either and he then remembered he had missed a few spots on his kissing spree, her inviting lips being the next stop. Knowing she was more awake, he didn't have to be so apprehensive in his touch, but at the same time, he didn't want to rush a moment that they wished would last forever. It started with slow pecks, then it turned into longer ones, until his tongue was parting her lips to meet with hers in a slow dance. They could feel the same passion of the night before peek around the corner waiting for it's turn to take over them. It didn't take long for it to happen. Slowly, passionately and still rather sleepy, they stood in bed, kissing for what they wished would last forever.
