Tony decided to organize a party for mine and Bucky's successful mission and the truth is I really needed a good night out with friends.

"I'm really proud of you guys." Nad told me. "This mission was important and you y/n would become a great spy. Let me train you and in less than a year you'll can decode files and use all kind of guns." I laughed.
"Tempting. But I love my science."
"So, Tony said that the party has a theme dedicated to you and... Bucky." Nat said and cleared her throat.
"Yes! Vintage theme and I'm excited! It was Bucky's idea actually to dress like back then and swing or jazz music playing in the background." I said with a smile.
"Ok, you'll help us with the styling because I have no idea." Nat said.

After few seconds Steve entered the living room with Sam, Bucky and Clint.
"Hey! How was the training?" I asked and hugged Steve, who kissed my forehead.
"Good. Are you girls ready for the themed party?" Clint asked.
"Well, y/n will help us." Wanda said.
"I'm sure she will." Steve said.
"Steve I've been meaning to ask, why don't you wear your military uniform? I've seen it in your closet, but you've never showed it to me." He smiled.
"I don't know. I haven't wear it since..." he stopped to collect his thoughts.
"Whatever you want, sweetheart. I just thought you'll look good in it." I winked and he blushed.
"If you don't respect the girls here, respect me cause I can't watch you guys. Gross!" Sam said and we laughed.
"I need to go to the lab, because Bruce is waiting for me. I'll see you later guys."

After I helped the girls with getting ready, I started getting dressed.
I put my red dress, black classic heels and I finished with my victory rolls. I was satisfied with the results and I finished my make up and the red lipstick.
Few minutes later my door knocked and knowing that it was Steve I quickly opened the door.
He didn't wear his military uniform - unfortunately - but a classic 40s style tuxedo that made my heart stopped.
"You look breath-taking, sweetheart." He told me and he kissed me. "This dress... "
"What? You don't like it?" I asked.
"No, no! It's amazing, sweetheart."
"Oh, I see Captain. You wanted it off of me, forget the party and stay here." I said seductively and he chuckled.
"Well." He took a breath. "That would be the best party." He said and I bit my lip. "But this is for you and Bucky and you have to attend and it's 40s theme."
"True! We'll finally dance like back then."
"I don't know how to dance."
"Me either! But it will be fun." I grabbed his hand and went to find the others.

Tony has done an excellent work with the decorations, the music and the food that easily I thought I was back in 40s for few seconds.
"Oh my God!" Steve gasped.
"Better than a time machine, huh?" Tony said to us and I agreed.
"Tony I love your suit." I said and he did a spin.
"Well, it used to be my father's aka Cap's biggest fan." He said and I giggled.
"You look like him Tony." Steve said. "Many flashbacks today." He said and cleared his throat.
"Why you say that?" I asked.
"Nothing, darling. Let's go have a drink." He held my hand.

"You know, Irish whisky used to be my favorite drink back then." Steve told me with a nostalgic face.
"Really? Tough one." We laughed. "Tell me how you used to spend your days back then."
"I was pretty boring actually. A small guy, with health problems and all the time beaten up in a different alley. "
"Small guy with a big heart." I said as I put both of my hands on his chest. "And I'm pretty sure you weren't boring. You're an artist, you love baseball and movies." he gave me a loving look, that made me melt.
"I wish I have met you back then. We would have had a pretty life." He said and I agreed.
"Oh, yes! Imagine going for a walk in the park holding a bag of peanuts." I said with a dreamy gaze.
"Cooking together and watching our favorite show." Steve added and I giggled.
"That would be nice." I said and Steve looked on the floor. "Listen, darling. I know that you have had difficult times and the fact that you woke up after 70 years in a completely different world was terrifying, but you made it through and you're one of the bravest man and I admire you so much." I said and he looked at me.
"Oh, sweetheart." He said and he kissed me passionately. "With you by my side I'm not afraid of anything."
"Damn you Steve Rogers." I smiled and he kissed my cheek.
