Chapter 2 - Lunch

It's been 20 minutes since he lost track of the Maid, he knocked on every door with no response anywhere. He gave up and went down stairs just as the grandmaster, the travler, paimon and Ayaka entered the building.
"Thoma?", Ayaka seemed surprised.
"We where looking for you", Paimon said "we'll good that you are already here for the feast."
Thoma looked confused yet happy.
"Well now that everyone is here we can start.", said Jean happily. She walked a few steps and before she could be warned she tripped over the basket of clothes Thoma had left there.
"I'm sorry Grandmaster I-", he was cut off.
"Don't worry Thoma, it isn't your fault I tripped. Noelle shouldn't have just abandoned work here in the middle of the hallway", Jean said. "Noelle id neglecting her work for weeks now. Even if she says she goes training there was never any improvment."
"It's my faul-"
"Thoma you don't need to take the blame for what that Maid did, let's go have some food", Ayaka said cheerfully.
"But-", Thoma started "nevermind"

They entered the office in which the feast was already set up waiting to be eaten. Shortly after they entered, Noelle knocked on the door. She entered bowing, making sure noone saw her eyes fully.
"Noelle", the grandmaster started "You should do your work better and more frequent"
"Yes, Grandmaster...", Noelle said before asking if her service was needed. As she got a clear no from the grandmaster she left the room.
The feast went down quiet and the talk after finishing was no importance to Thoma. His thought went to the maid he noticed something about her outfit being off but couldn't quite put a finger on it.

The day rolled by fast the moon was already rising when he recieved a key to a room to which he was guided. He unlocked the door and stared into the simple yet cozy room. He immediately threw himself into the bed which was recently cleaned. He closed his eyes and fell asleep.

His sleep didn't last long as he was awoke by the sound of a window opening. He got up and stared outside as soon as he did a pair of legs and a skirt blocked his view. He examined the skirt and realized it belonged to Noelle. His gaze followed her shacking legs slowly moving forward. He was facinated by her. Slowly she dissappeared from the field of view but before she completly did she stopped. She stood on a small window cell completly still. For several minuted she did so. Before disspearing into the night.
