Ayaka sat next to Thoma in his room, her blade resting on her lap ready to strike. Klee occaisionaly knocked on the door hoping to enter but always being denied the access.
Lisas legs were getting sore and so were Jeans. Hours of walking truely drained power from their bodies. Everyone could barely walk but yet they kept on doing so. All to find a certain maid who has been missing for days. In desperation the knights even considered setting out a bounty for the maid. She was not seen as the maid of the knights anymore, for them she was the traitor, the jealous girl who couldn't do anything right and attacked a guest.
She was worse than the increasing amount of Hilichurls and other monsters that drew closer towards Mondstadt. Most parts of the outer city have been evacuated ever since the knights weren't able to protect the villigers living there.

Not long after the disapearence the visitors from Inazuma were sent home for their savety. The housekeeper looking back at the city in which he met the strong maid, who as he thought protected the outer boarders at night all by herself. His thoughts drifted towards the young girl, always with the mindset she died somewhere in the nowhere due to her injuries getting worse, if she didn't took a different way of getting to bring herself to the fate every being faces at their time.
It hurt him thinking that the maid did the act of ending her existence, he saw how badly everyone treated the girl, it definetly wouldn't surprise him. She was blamed for his injuries, she didn't cause. The only thing she asked for was a kiss. She probaly wouldn't even care how the other looked or felt about her unless she could give herself the illusion of being needed and loved.
She would have payed with her life just to experince that feeling once.
And yet she payed with her life just to be free from all the judgement and pain.

There was no point in either declining or accepting anything.
No matter what she would choose, both would eventually would end in her demise.
But accepting would open the option for revenge, to make everyone feel the pain she felt.
She stared at the man in front of her.
"I see no point in my life as it is, if I die now I would never see the others regret never seeing me", she whispered "I want to show everyone what I am capable of". She opened her eyes and smiled. "I accept the offer, I'll show all of Mondstadt that I could have been the best knight of them all" tears formed in her eyes while laughing, the Fatui just smiling.
"You are already like the rest of us little one", the Harbinger yelled, "You are already insane like us!"
Both laughed at each other while both knowing that the way would lead the girl into the depth of the most disgusting part of her mind.

The soft wind of Inazuma flew over the Shogun, everything that happend in Mondstadt was reported to her. She agreed on sending a troop to find the criminal that harmed one of her subjects. The entire Kamisato clan was pissed at the fact that first trip after the country was opened ended that way. As a safety messure she send a troop to the Kamisato estate and even ordered more guards around her.
