John hung up the phone and continued walking. A smile formed across his face at the thought that he had gotten away yet another time. He had been cheating on his wife for the past 6 months. Covering up for the meetings with his mistress by making up work excuses was working pretty well for him.
He took a turn from the busy road to a silent street. The only sound he could hear was of his own footsteps. A while later someone else's too. He could feel himself being followed but when he turned around there was no one.He continued walking and this time he could feel a presence right behind him. He turned around with a jolt of fear and anxiety . But there was no one. He could hear nothing but the sound of his own fastened breathing. He stayed still for a while, taking a nice look at his surroundings. Then he took a deep breath and turned around to continue walking.
The moment he turned ,he was terrified as he saw a man standing right infront of him. The man was charming, dark haired with blue riveting eyes which slowly turned bloodshot and the veins around the eyes got magnified a million times by the blood and adrenaline rush. Then two fangs emerged from his mouth.

Pure terror seized him. He knew what was coming. John's eyes widened with fear and amusement. What he had just witnessed was beyond his wildest imaginations .The man came closer , ready to dig into John's flesh and veins. In those few moments, filled with fear and fascination ,right before the man sucked the life out of his veins ,John had a realization...
