A young girl named Sapphire has just turned 10 years old and is ready to receive her first pokemon, along with her friends Emerald and Ruby. However a big surprise awaits them and they receive the alolan starters, Popplio, Rowlet and Litten instead...
NOTE FROM AUTHOR: The battle against Team Rocket will be re-written, because I forgot back then that Bulbasaur is part poison type and poison type Pokemon cannot be poisoned!

Anyways, here's the anime logic chapter until I correct this, lol...
Like usual, Sapphire and Green woke up early the next morning at the Pokémon Centre next to the entrance to Mount Moon. Sapphire and Green stopped at the Pokemart inside the Pokémon Centre to buy more super potions and a couple of revives. Then, they stopped at the cafe, which was unusually empty, to buy some food for the day.
After brushing their teeth, both Sapphire and Green went out the doors of the Pokémon Centre and walked on the rocky path to get to the entrance to Mount Moon. As they looked at the entrance, Green's Pichu (who was on her shoulder) shivered with fear.
"Don't worry Pichu. I know it will be dark in there, but we will be fine!" Green reassured her baby mouse Pokémon.
They walked in the entrance and shivered due to the cold. However, as they walked further in, instead of getting darker, it was getting lighter. This puzzled Sapphire and Green, until she saw lights on the ceiling of the cave!
"Sapphire, I don't think the lights are supposed to be there!" Green whispered to Sapphire.
Suddenly, there was screeching noises, coming from further into the cave! It got louder until a swarm of blue bat Pokémon with purple wings flew in the direction of the duo and knocked them over while it flew into them. The bat Pokémon then flew out of the exit of the cave.
A bit dazed, Sapphire got up and looked at Green.
"I don't think these Pokémon looked very happy!" Sapphire said to Green. "They escaped the cave!"
"I know!" Gasped Green. "I think they don't like the bright lights! Maybe someone had put them there to scare all the Pokémon away!"
"What do we do?!" Shouted Sapphire.
Suddenly a flash of pink appeared around the corner.
"Oh no, not another Jigglypuff!" Moaned Sapphire.
But the Pokémon that appeared has small beady black eyes instead of the large teal eyes of a Jigglypuff. And unlike Jigglypuff, it has sharp white claws on it's hands and has one claw on each foot. Immediately, Sapphure opened her rotom phone and scanned the new pink Pokémon.
"This Pokémon is a Clefairy, a fairy type. It is the evolved form of Cleffa. Its adorable appearance makes it popular as a pet. However, it is rare and difficult to find.With its magical and cute appeal, it has many admirers. It is rare and found only in certain areas. This Clefairy is female."

"Look at Clefairy! She's looked very frightened!" Gasped Sapphire.
