Nina woke up and followed her usual morning routine, taking a shower and getting ready as if she had somewhere important to be. She quickly left her house and headed to her destination. However, upon arriving, she soon realized how dull the place was.
The area was dimly lit, with numerous trees around, their leaves an eerie shade of black or blue. It looked like an abandoned forest, long forgotten by time. As she stood there, her chat inbox pinged open with a message from Dylan, providing an address. She checked it and confirmed she was in the right spot. Suddenly, she had the unsettling feeling that someone was watching her. Turning around, she saw a figure and felt a pang of fear.
"Bow!"
"Ahhhhh!"
"Hahaha, gotcha!"
"What the heck are you doing here?" she demanded.
"Ummm, I saw you rushing off somewhere, so I thought I'd follow in case you needed help."
"You're getting in the way, Ethan. To be honest, you shouldn't be following me around."
"Or else what?" he challenged. "What will you do?"
"I will—"
"Kiss me?" he teased.
"Are you asking me to kiss your ugly lips?"
"Or maybe you really want to," he smirked.
"Hahaha, funny."
"Umm, hey guys?" Dylan suddenly interrupted. "What is he doing here? You didn't tell me he was going to be here."
"Oh, we had something to do, so I brought him along. I forgot to tell you. Is that okay?" she replied, noticing Ethan raising an eyebrow as he glanced at her. She ignored him, focusing on Dylan instead.
"O-oh, no, no, it's totally fine," Dylan replied.
"By the way, why did you tell her to come to this place?" Ethan asked him.
"This place is serene and empty all the time," Dylan answered. "I wanted to show her some of those cute rabbits because there are sweet animals and little cute rabbits."
"I don't see them," stated Ethan. Suddenly, Dylan received a call. "Sorry, I just got a call," he said.
"It's okay," Nina answered. Dylan moved away from them to take the call.
Ethan turned to Nina, concern etched on his face. "Oh, I was getting in the way of your date, and suddenly you invited me. I'm sorry, but I have to go; I have work."
"No, no, no, I feel like Dylan is kind of weird, so please stay with me. This place is really scary," she said, clutching his arm tightly.
"He seems strange to you? He's a real asshole with a lot of ex-girlfriends. Girl, he's after your body."
"Wtf?"
"Regarding the exes, they all vanished. Nobody knows where they are now."
"Then how did you know?"
"Almost everyone knows that."
"But I don't think so."
"Just stay away from him anyway, even if you don't believe me."
"Ayyy, someone is jealous?"
"Yes, I really am. Here you are, clutching my arm, scaredy-cat."
Realizing what she was doing, she began to pull away. "I'm not a coward. You should avoid being around me."
"When you're the one pulling me along with you?"
Dylan returned and said, "Um, it was my friend. Okay, so I was thinking to look around."
