__Nina__
The sun's bright rays stirred me awake. "Well, it's already dawn," I mumbled to myself, realizing I hadn't slept much at all. Glancing at my phone, I recalled the events of the previous evening. After a quick shower, I made the spontaneous decision to step outside.
As I peered out, the surroundings were deserted, completely empty. "What a fool I am. Why would anyone stick around here in the morning? Must have been a guy, right?" I chuckled to myself, shrugging off the thought, and headed towards the breakfast area.
Just then, Ethan's call came through. I debated answering immediately but opted to let it ring a few more seconds.
**OTP**
Nina: Bro, it's early. I'm swamped. Stop bothering me.
Ethan: Can't you be sweet for once? If you were nicer, I wouldn't bother you.
Nina: Why should I?
Ethan: So you want me to keep pestering you?
Nina: No way, Ethan!
Ethan: What's wrong?
Nina: Ugh, fine. Ethan, could you please not call me right now? I'm swamped this morning.
Ethan: A bit sweeter, maybe? Like, sprinkle in some extra sugar?
Nina: How sweet, jerk. You'll give me diabetes.
Ethan: Pretend I'm your boyfriend.
Nina: Ugh, Ethan, please don't call me right now, okay? I'm really busy.
Ethan: Don't say "busy," it sounds rude. And add a little "baby" on top.
Nina: Hell no.
Ethan: Hell yeah, baby!
Nina: Oh, Ethan, sweetie, can you call me later? I'm in the middle of something at work.
I tried to be as polite as possible, even though it made me cringe.
Ethan: Okay, baby.
Nina: I'm hanging up now.
Ethan: I love hearing your voice.
Nina: You promised you wouldn't bother me anymore.
Ethan: Technically, I didn't promise
.
Someone grabbed Ethan's phone and took over.
Hannah: Your smooth talk never ends. Let me talk to her.
I heard Ethan grunt in the background.
Hannah: Hi Nina! You know you have to come to my wedding, right?
Nina: Of course!
Hannah: I need your help with my wedding dress.
Nina: Oh, I'm not really knowledgeable about that.
Hannah: Come on, everyone says I should go with this dress, but I'm not sold. I want your opinion. Just a dress... come over to my place.
Nina: Sure, no problem.
Hannah: Thanks, talk soon!
Nina: Goodbye.
Hannah: Goodbye.
After she ended the call, I couldn't help but think, "She is really excited about her wedding." Following her directions, I arrived at the specified location.
