TW: mentions of abuse

NOTE: I'm gonna write a SakuAtsu story continuing from Papiliones ch 20 <3 I'll announce it here, A Tetrad Of Boyfriends, and my wall — I probably won't publish until Papiliones has ended

Osamu wasn't quite sure what happened.

It had been about six—no, seven months now since the two started their arrangement, and a little over four since they started dating—if Osamu had done the math right, which was unlikely.

But he knew exactly when things started to change.

It was subtle.

less talking and meeting up led to less sex, and less communication led to... well... misunderstandings. But as far as Osamu was aware,

Suna was pulling away from him.

"Hey, 'm at the shop. I could come over if ya want somethin'." Osamu had his phone wedged between his shoulder and hear as he browsed through the narrow aisles of the small convenience store. He sighed softly and grabbed the device with his hand, switching it over to the other ear. "'Nyway, call me back. Bye." He ended the voicemail and stared at the screen.

"Girlfriend not talkin' to ya?" The clerk asked, peering over his crinkled newspaper and puffing out clouds of smoke. Osamu glanced up and wet his lips.

"Somethin' like that," he mumbled, grabbing the box of condoms and setting them on the counter. While the clerk rang him up he glanced behind him. "C'n I get a pack of Seven Stars too?" He said, fishing out a wad of cash from his pocket. He paid quickly and left with a plastic bag in his hand, making his way towards the dorms. It couldn't hurt to visit Suna.

Suna hadn't spoke to him for about a week. In school the didn't really interact anyway, but outside not once had Suna invited him over. Osamu realized the two had never been on an actual date. He figured he could ask him out to one but since Suna had practically disappeared, he hadn't found the chance. But he figured he could ask when he finally arrived at the dorms.

He gently knocked on the wooden door, waiting about a minute before it finally opened.

Suna's roommate was the one to answer.

"Damn, you're still here?" He asked, chuckling when Osamu brushed past him. "I figured he dropped you sincei t's been so long. Y'know, he hates it when his buddies come over unexpected-"

"I'm his boyfriend, fuck off," Osamu grunted, taking off his shoes and heading straight for Suna's room.

Suna was lounging on the bed and scrolling through his phone.

"Oi," Osamu said, throwing the bag on the floor and dropping his jack onto a nearby chair. Suna glanced up and frowned.

"The fuck are ya doin' here?" He asked, clearly annoyed.

"Me? You haven't talked to me in a week, Rin!" Osamu said. Suna sat up and rolled his eyes.

"So?"

"So?! So, what the hell?! Why are ya ignorin' me, huh?" Osamu walked over and yanked the phone out of his hand.

"Hey!"

"You didn't even pick up when I called!" He yelled, tossing the phone. Suna grabbed his collar and glared.

"The fuck, man?!" He shouted, pushing Osamu away and grabbing his butterfly phone. Osamu stared.

"The fuck is that?" He asked, pointing at Suna's neck. The blocker glanced up.
