happy progress day

Jinx and I sat in the corner of the air ship listening to see if anything went wrong with this mission "How you feeling toots?" Jinx asked me spray painting the bottom of a swing, I looked over seeing the bottom of the hatch spray painted as well "Excited." I smiled and she giggled "Shit the firelights." We heard being yelled from upstairs "Jinx." I whispered and she finished off and ran and sat next to me. Suddenly the door opened and two men walked down, one stepped on the trap wire and the door slammed shut reveling our symbol "No no no no." They spoke panicking and trying to get out they stopped and walked back Jinx moved and it creaked the room "Oh no, they're here." One spoke and I smirked. They walked near us and Jinx ran behind barrels and they gasped and stopped my evil echoing through the room "Shit." The short man holding a flare spoke,  Jinx helped me up on the wire and she got on underneath me, they threw the flare to the swing and it swung up saying 'boom' "Oh no." Jinx released and we flew by them I placed bombs on them and they stood there. I jumped off in the corner and I giggled Jinx and I high fived as they blew up, we climbed up and opened the hatch I walked slowly next to Jinx in the smoke that we created and I could see the firelights. We appeared from the smoke and Jinx blew her hair out her face "Hi." She spoke and I waved we then pulled out of bombs and bit off the plugs and threw them at the bodies around us. Jinx walked over to the head one pulling out her gun and he fired at us but we dodged it, one jumped from the ceiling at me but I dodged it and jumped on his neck and spinning around and stomping his head in the ground, Jinx kicked there leader away and grabbed a flare from one of the other punching her, her mask flew off and she gasped "Vi?" I heard her whisper and I whipped my head around to look as I crouched near Savica the flare fell and a fire started the crook who wasn't Vi got out of Jinx's grip and ran but Jinx shot her "NO." The leader yelled running over Jinx panted and looked at me I jumped up and before I could reach her she grabbed her machine and was shooting the whole area I ducked to the ground and I covered my head she lost it she broke. I jumped behind her and grabbed her shoulder "Jinx relax." I spoke and she stopped shooting she was breathing heavily and she looked at me "You were supposed to guard the cargo." Savica spoke pushing me away from Jinx and hitting her arm she got close to Jinx's face and Jinx chuckled, "Don't touch her again."Jinx growled at her and I walked over to her and she put her arm around me and we left.

We snuck through the tunnels of the bar and slid up in Silcos office and he saw us he stared at us he shook his head and we jumped up in the rafters for when Savica comes. "She fired on us." She spoke biting the top off a drink off and spitting it on the ground Jinx had her legs to her chest and she sighed "You're fine." I whispered and she looked at me "There are always mishaps in battle the firelights were her target and most are dead." Silco spoke defending her "It's wasn't a mishap she froze up and lost her shit, and of course her little girlfriend was there to comfort her, I could've handled those brats, she's a problem and we all know it." Savica spoke and I growled at her "We? who's we? I expect better form you then excuses it was your job to make sure things went smoothly..you failed don't disappoint me again." Silco spoke looking back out his window Savica grunted and slammed the door going out.
He threw down his clip board and sighed "The worlds growing smaller every day thanks to the Hexgates and now we're cut off the topsides are leaving us further and further behind...what happened?" He asked Jinx laid there her braids hanging off the ledge and I rubbed her hand "She already told you." Jinx spoke "I'm asking you two." She spoke and I jumped down near his desk and Jinx jumped down on his desk and pulled her knees to her chest I walked to the window and leaned on it "One of those firelight wackos was a girl with pink hair, and Asteria only calmed me down." "Mmm." He handed her his shot and she sat in his lap and he leaned back "Your sister is gone, you know that as well as Asteria and I do." "I know, I know sisters right? cant live with 'em can't stuff them back in the ol' baby maker." She was spazzing out now she chuckled and started blowing in his shot and I giggled at her and Silco rolled his eyes "Todays screw up will set us back weeks." "I'm sorry." Jinx spoke and I nodded "I tried to calm her down the best I could." I spoke and he motioned for me to come over and he patted my back "I need to know that I can rely on you two." Silco spoke as Jinx pretended the shot was a plane he grabbed her wrist and I glared at him "I'm doing this for us Jinx, Asteria all of us the sons and daughters of Zuan deserve more than their runoff." Silco spoke letting go of her arm "It won't happen again." "I know." She shot his eye with the shimmer and he gaged and struggled a little while Jinx motioned for me to sit next to her. "Savica will clean up todays mess." "Savica?" I asked "Yeah that ogre couldn't clean a dust bunny with a blowtorch." Jinx spoke and I fist bumpted her "She will suffice, you should focus on your gadgetry." "Ugh." Jinx spoke falling on my lap and grabbing the knife "Take some time." "I don't need time, I have sugar here we could go on another one!" Jinx spoke while I played with her hair "Take it anyhow...Asteria how did you feel?" He asked and Jinx ran out "I felt fine actually nothing happened, I'm just worried about Jinx she froze up really bad." I sighed jumping off the desk and standing in front of his desk "Watch her make sure she's ok, but at the same time take care of yourself." I nodded and I walked out going to get Jinx.

"Babe." I spoke walking in our room not seeing her "Jinx?" I called again and I couldn't find her I looked in the bathroom our room and around her whole workshop "Shit." I yelled and I grabbed my hat and katana and I walked on the ledge I looked down seeing a blimp that had HAPPY PROGRESS DAY on it "SHIT" I yelled again and I ran off. I ran into the bar and I ran up the steps to his office "Silco!" "What's wrong Asteria?" He asked jumping up "Jinx is gone I can't find her, I think she's gonna bomb the city for HAPPY PROGRESS DAY." I spoke "Ok ok calm down, go to the city now and find her I'll have back up go out as well." I rushed out of the bar and I ran outside and I ran through a tunnel to the city I could see smoke from the horizon and I gasped "Jinx." I groaned and I ran faster
up the steps seeing Silcos guards the building was blown up and I gasped, I heard light chuckle and I looked over with my binoculars seeing Jinx skipping off but she didn't see me. "Tell Silco I found her, GO." I yelled at the end and one ran off "Yes." I growled and I rushed back home taking hidden past and shit.
I stomped through the tunnel and slamming our door open seeing Jinx hugging Silco "Jinx." I growled and she jumped and looked at me "Oh hiii sugar." Silco saw the look on my face and he knew I was pissed off. Her face dropped and Silco left "What the hell were you thinking!?" I spoke stomping to her and she sat down looking up at me "ONE you didn't bring me in case if anything happened TWO you could have gotten caught THREE YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN KILLED." I shouted at her and she blinked and looked down "Look I'm sorry, I just wanted to prove myself to Silco that I'm worthy." "Jinx you are worthy you don't have to prove it, I was terrified when I came home and I couldn't find you, and I ran to the city with the guards and I saw you run off, Jinx come on." I spoke sighing sitting on the floor rubbing my face "I can't loose you, that was to far." I spoke looking up at her she sniffled and sat down next to me "I'm sorry ok, I'm I should have told you and not worried you." "Or just not do it at all." I spoke looking at her "I thought something bad happened to you." I spoke looking at her and she pushed the hair from my face "I'm ok, I'm right here." She spoke "Im still mad." I spoke stocking my tongue out at her "Well I got this." She had the Hexgate stone in her hand. "Babe...you are a genius." I spoke grabbing it and looking at her "But you still didn't have to blow up the building." She stared at me and nodded "Well happy progress day sugar."
