__Doctor's POV__

When I woke up out of my nightmares, I first wiped my face off due to the tear stains. I managed to stand up, and made my way to the control room to find out if Martha wanted me to land The TARDIS anywhere special for her day 'off' of adventures.

On my way there, I bumped into her in a walkway. Literally bumped into her, and we both fell down. When we both had our feet planted firmly on the metal grating again, she started apologizing profusely. I ignored her until she said that she had just been on her way to the library. "Well (A/N ya'll know what 'well' I'm talking about), would you rather me park The TARDIS in a certain place? Maybe you could visit you family?" See started shaking her head and demanded on going to the library.

After she was on her way, I continued to the control room anyway. Once there, my hearts stopped. There was someone on they ground. A blonde. My blonde. Rose Tyler.

She was missing both her arms and a leg. Her neck was bent in a shape that a human neck shouldn't be. There was blood everywhere, but I knew My Beautiful Smart Sexy Rose when I saw her. I was desperate. I grabbed the remains of her body and carried her to the emergency med-bay. My best guess is that she had been pushed through the Time Vortex without any shielding, such as The TARDIS exterior or the force fields of Vortex Manipulators.

I immediately scanned her body for everything. There were no life signs. Not one. And her body only had one limb left anyway. I checked her genetic DNA, to try and find any TARDIS material left over from when she became the Bad Wolf on Platform 5. Nothing. I even checked to see if I could trade my lives for her one, but I only had one regeneration left, and that much damage would have taken at least 6 regeneration's worth of power. I even resorted to following Earth fairy-tale standards. I cried one long tear, and let it drop gracefully onto Rose's bloody cheek. Nothing. Damned Rapunzel anyway.

I knew it was impossible. There was no way for her to get back, and even if she could, she wouldn't be so stupid to go through unprotected. But I checked my box. More than 40 times. She scanned, and apparently Jack had helped with a malfunctioning gadget. They must've underestimated the Vortex's power. Either way, Rose was gone. I thought I was in a dream. I checked multiple times for any clues, and I even tried my methods for waking up when attacked by a Dream Crab. Not. One. Single. Thing.

I knew Martha couldn't walk in here if I was like this, so I carried Rose to her room, which had been left untouched by even The TARDIS ever since Rose left on Bad Wolf Bay. My Rose was dead, and I didn't even know the worst part. I didn't know that she died before she even knew if I would see her. She died unsure if I would know that she even tried to come back. She had tried to come back. She had died trying to come back. And I wouldn't ever forget my Rose. My flower. My Bad Wolf.

I died inside. I couldn't even move. I couldn't think worth a damn. I don't even think I was breathing. But I was broken. More broken than I would ever be. And I had killed entire worlds. I had burned my own wife and children. I murdered my own family, but this was the 10. I remember Rose obsessing over that Earth book, The Fault In Our Stars. I remember watching the movie and reading the book with Rose. And I remember Hazel Grace's big 10. This was mine. Compared to this, murdering my own family was a 4. And this was the 10 that broke both my hearts and all my brains.
