Mickey started his long story, finally getting me to shut up and listen:

"So, Torchwood called. They said you wouldn't listen to their news. I was a bit bothered that they decided to call me, but I listened and said that I'd deliver any message they had. They started by saying they had a new machine for you. It was Ianto who got on, and he said that the machine they had made was for you to get back to The Doctor.

"He said they had fixed it so that, instead of ripping the Universes, it folded them so you could get through, just for one trip.

"So, I got really scared of you leaving. I knew I didn't want you to leave here, let alone to go back to your stupid Doctor. I also knew that I couldn't live with the guilt of not telling you. Also, since I have nothin' here for me, since Gran passed, it would be easiest to just get it all over with. I thought the easiest way would be to....to-"

I had to interrupt again, "To what? Kill yourself? How does that help ANYTHING?"

"I know, Rose. I just couldn't stand it all. Just... Just go."

"Yeah, I will go, but I'm not letting you out of my sight again. Come on, I'm taking you with me."

I ended up dragging him back out of the apartment, and into my car. I took him back to Mums', dropped him off with her, told her not to let him go anywhere-not even outside, and drove to Torchwood right away.

When I got to Torchwood, Ianto was in the lobby on the phone with someone. The second he saw me, he told the other end that he would have to call back later, and he rushed right over to me. He asked if I wanted to see the machine, and I replied back curtly, "What else would I be doing?"

He led me upstairs, to his office, where he showed me the machine, but I immediately knew that I had a problem.

It was only built for one person. When Mickey said 'me,' I didn't know he ONLY meant me, but I already had my mind made up; I was going back to my Doctor, and nothing was going to change that.

__Two Weeks Later__

It was time. I had already said goodbye to Mum, Dad, and Mickey(who had emotionally healed after his almost-suicide).

I walked into Iantos' office, and got strapped up the Universe-folding machine. I said goodbye to all the workers: Gwen, Owen, Jackson, and Ianto. I was about to leave when my vision faded. I thought the machine had just knocked me unconcious, but it was way worse.
