Rose's Timeline

"Jack?" I called out. If his ressurection was the reason the man's death was funny, then I shouldn't have been mad at Ianto, but he still should've warned me...

"ROSE!" He yelled with urgency as if I was about to get hit by a car. I looked around to make sure I wasn't.

Jack immediately ran over and pulled me into a bone-crushing hug. He then pulled me into his trade-mark greeting kiss, which was met by my, "Jack, Tic-Tac!"

"Oh yeah, YOU try to keep your breath minty fresh when you travel through the Time-Vortex. Then DYING."

"So it WAS you who Ianto was talking about..."

"What? What do you mean?"

"He sent me this text laughing about a dead 'guy' and I got mad because I didn't know he was talking about an immortal flirty Captain from the 51st century,"

All he had to say was, "Oh....... Yeah, you had came part way through the vortex, and when my vortex manipulator here showed a signal from 'Bad Wolf', I locked on and came back through with you. Although, I had my arms out, and when you burnt out Cardiff, I got electrocuted from one of the loose wires." It took me a minute to process what he was saying. "So, you mean I actually did it? I came through the vortex?"

"Well, only part way," he started, "From your point of view, it would have just looked like a flash of light."

So, that wasn't the lights starting to burn out, that was the vortex I saw when we first triggered the machine. "Okay, well, Jack, since you're from the 51st century, isn't there anything you can do to get me all the way through?" My mind was suddenly off track, and back onto thinking about my Doctor again. 'My Doctor' Yeah right! I mentally scolded myself for not remembering how old I've become, and what had happened to poor Sarah Jane Smith. The only thing that brought me back to reality was a handsome Ex-Time Agent's voice.

"Rose! Snap out of it!"

"What....sorry, my mind went for a trip..." I stuttered out. "Well, Rose, there is something I can do about that, and, well, I already did. Go inside and look."

Jack could help me get back?!?! That was amazing! I ran up to Ianto's office as fast as my feet could carry me. When I got there, I saw the machine all fixed and ready, and Ianto even said Jack had helped them fix exactly what they couldn't figure out, but another realization hit me, and I was devastated at the thought....

With a loud crash and a shaking of the interior, The TARDIS landed inside the 75th annual Hunger Games, somewhere in the wilds of Panem.
