Kendall Jenner's brain

(10:05 AM Sunday)

     I shuffled my feet after Khloe as she checked her watch, "He's late," she said, quite too sweetly. I frowned at her expression as she tried to smile as she turned to me.

     "The movie starts at 10:20, and Joe's not here yet. What do I do?"

     I squinted, "I don't know, I'm waiting for Fai to show. We're gonna be hanging for a little while."

     Khloe scrunched up her nose, "That's nice... what're you guys planning on doing? Shopping?" 

     I shrugged, "Maybe, I don't know. Which movie are you guys watching, anyway?"

     Khloe beamed, "This Ian Somerhalder movie— I don't know, but it's pretty old and vintage. They showed it once like, 10 years ago. Joe knows it, he watched it when it first premiered... I watched it with mom. And we're gonna watch it again!" she squealed, a little too over-excited.

     I bet I wasn't born yet, then.

     "Sounds dumb," I couldn't help but mutter under my breath as Khloe turned away.

     Khloe let out a squeal and pointed at an entrance somewhere at the mall, "Look, I think that's Fai! You go now, they'll be here in a minute and I— I don't want you to bother—" 

     As Khloe started to push me towards Fai's direction, I frowned, "Hang on, they!? As in— more than one person? Who else is gonna be here other than Joe!?"

     Khloe flashed me a smile as I turned to Fai, "No one, I'll see you after the movie and we could go for lunch!" 

     I watched Khloe skip away and I turned to Fai who had a confused look on his face, "Um... what's up?" 

     I plastered on a grin, "Hey, Fai, what's up! Come on, shopping starts now—" 

     "Wait, hold on, I need to tell you something first," Fai said, taking hold of my bicep, tugging me back.

     I frowned, "What is it?" 

     He took a deep breath, "I know I promised I'd be here for the rest of the morning but, uh... I have something to do and can't stay for that much..."
