I think I finally found a note to make you understand
If you can hit it, sing along and take me by the hand
Just keep me stuck inside your head, like your favorite tune

(7:40 PM Monday)
The traffic was a bitch but we managed to get to the venue, just in time. Doors didn't open before 6, but the area was crowded with cars and women in huge sparkly dresses of all sorts.
There was chatter, but I was sure it didn't all resort to the chatter that was going on inside.
I stepped out of the car to open the door for Kendall, but instead, caught Gigi's eye, who was standing on the other side of the parking space. She sent me a little wave, then turned back to her other blonde friend.
I clenched my jaw and held my hand out, not taking my eyes off her. I needed to make sure she was kept in my sight. I had to know who she was blabbering off to.
I felt Kendall clutch at my hand and I pulled her up to her feet. I still didn't look away, reminding myself what I would scream at her when I got the chance.
"Who're you looking at?" Kendall's voice distracted me, and I couldn't help but turn to her, smiling.
Hoping to keep my lips as still as possible, I mumbled through my clenched smile. "Gigi's here. She can't possibly have told that friend of her's, but we shouldn't be too careful." I felt her shiver as I snaked my arm around her waist.
I shut the door and we both made our way to the concrete clearing, where Joe rolled up, windows down. "Hey, brother. Gotta go find a parking space— you guys should go inside."
I nodded, unbothered about his parking space whatever— I just needed to tell him. "Listen, dude; She's here." Joe's thick caterpillar eyebrows furrowed.
"What? Where?"
I jerked my head around, swearing under my breath. She was gone. I shook my head, turning back to Joe. "You're gonna need to find her— not go look for her, but if you see her anywhere, talking with anyone, you gotta tell me."
Joe nodded. "Okay. We'll see you inside." He nodded at Kendall before rolling the windows up, driving away.
I turned to Kendall. "You know what to do. Just make sure you're not being suspicious. You do know what it's like to be in a relationship with... someone, right?"
I wasn't trying to be offensive, but Kendall took it quite rudely. Her eyebrows looking like she was about to hiss at me, she leaned in. "Yes, I do." She was hissing. "I know how to act— you just try to be less unpleasant than you are most of the time."
