Ep 16: Damage....what kind of Damage?

Summery: Since New York keeps getting destroyed on a daily basis, Team Ultimate volunteers to help some local construction workers fix some of the buildings that were unfortunately destroyed after a couple battles went on. But the local construction workers may not seem what they say to be.

-Peters POV-

So some of the city is destroyed...again. Since villain attacks and alien invasions have been coming up left and right, New York has gotten destroyed a lot. Of course Shield and Stark Industries have been helping with the repairs, but the construction still takes awhile. It's especially gonna take a long time for building repairs to be done now since the Avengers has this big battle with some villain named Hyperion.

So that's why Team Ultimate and I have decided to do some volunteer work by helping with damage control. When we told Mr Fury that we are going to be doing volunteer work, he said that we should keep our eyes open wide and look for any suspicious activity. Mr Fury then explained to us how the villain group known as the Wrecking Crew have somehow escaped Shield Custody and have been causing mayhem by destroying more buildings. Shield Agents have been trying to track them down but so far have no luck in finding them, but they did have suspicions that they were in the area where the volunteer work Team Ultimate and I signed up for was at.

After that explanation, Team Ultimate and I headed off to the construction sight where the damage control employees should be at. When we left, Sam said that the Shield agents were being paranoiac and that it was probably fine and that the Wrecking Crew was somewhere else. Ava said that we should still be keep our eyes open like Mr Fury said as we can be ready if we do run into the Wrecking crew. What's my opinion you may ask....will me opinion is what kind of Villain group names themselves the Wrecking Crew, it just sounds like they're a group of regular construction workers. They couldn't have picked something else that didn't make them sound like that.

Other then that horrible Villain group name, we soon got to the Construction site. We just finished talking to the head worker named Mac Porter, who told us that we should start working along with the other volunteer workers. So here we are now, cleaning up the stuff that was left behind after a couple battles so the construction workers can start building, as they need a clear space to do repairs. It actually isn't that bad, and it's nice seeing people helping out with cleaning and fixing the city. It leaves a nice feeling in my hea-...huh....what's that?

As I was cleaning up, I see a strange device that looks like it was hidden from plain sight...did someone hide it their on purpose?. I walk over to the device and pick it up. It seems like some kind of ray, though I can't tell what it is. I should go tell the team about this.

"Hey guys?" I said, walking over to where the team is.

"What up Pet-....why do you have a ray gun?" Luke asked, as he looks a bit shocked.

"I found this laying around here." I explained, showing them the ray gun, making sure no one else will see it.

"What dose it do?" Ava asked, sounding a bit carious.

I shrug and say, "I didn't use it. I was thinking maybe you guys would help me figure it out."

"It's probably nothing, here let me see." Sam says, as he grabs the ray gun.

"You should be careful my friend, we don't know if this device is dangerous or not." Danny says.

"It's probably nothing. It's probably broken or somethi-" before Sam could finish his sentence, the ray gun shots a beam at him and Sam disappears....HOLY CLOWNFISH! Sams dead!
