The next morning Emily woke up screaming. She's never had a nightmare this vivid. The Kanima was here, at the house, it killed everyone.

"Emmy!" Scott called while trying to get her to wake up

"Em! It's alright, you gotta wake up." He said again and her eyes shot open

She stared at her brother with tears in her eyes before hugging him tightly.

"You're alright. You're okay." Scott whispered and then their mom ran into her room

"What's going on?" She asked and sat on the edge of Emily's bed.

"Just a bad dream. She's okay mom." Scott explained

"I love you Scott but I want to hear from her if she's okay or not." She chuckled and Scott let go of his sister so she could talk to her mom

"I'm okay momma.. I'm okay."

"You sure?"

"I'm sure. Sorry for scaring you guys." She whispered while whipping her tears

"As Long as you're okay. Now you guys have to get ready for school." Melissa said before kissing Emily's head

Melissa left the room and Scott sighed while looking at his sister. He knew she wasn't okay.

"Kanima. It was here and it killed you and mom. I-it felt so real.."

"It wasn't. I'm right here. I don't think I'm dying anytime soon." He chuckled and messed up her hair a bit

"Now get ready. We have to go soon."

When the two got to the school, Scott went his own way to go to his class. Emily on the other hand went straight to her locker. She kept getting strange looks today and didn't have any clue why. That was until her locker door closed and she looked beside her.

"Isaac! What the hell are you doing here? You're gonna get caught." She said worriedly

"Actually, I'm no longer a person of interest. Wanted to see you since it's my first day back." He smirked

Emily noticed he was back to being douchey. This is not how she wanted her day to go.

"So, can I walk you to class?"

"If you insist." She said, not knowing what to say because she didn't know what would happen if she said no.

Was Derek lurking somewhere? Was Erica going to come out of nowhere? Was Scott going to see what was happening and kick Isaacs ass? All these questions were running through her brain.

Emily stepped away from her locker and walked in the direction of her class. Isaac wrapped his arm around her shoulders with a big smile on his face. Everyone was staring at the two and not in a good way. It was making Emily uncomfortable. She shivered her way out of his grip when they got to her class.

"What's wrong?" He asked, actually concerned

"You're acting strange.. not sure if I like it.." She said while cradling her books closer to her chest "But uhm I'll see you later okay? Don't get in trouble."

"I'll try not to." He chuckled and walked away

While sitting in class her phone kept buzzing. Like insane buzzing. Every five seconds. She finally decided to check her phone
