Emily and the boys got to Stiles' house in a quick matter. They ran up to his room and Stiles grabbed all his evidence. Emily sat on his bed while the boys looked at his files.
"Dad!" Stiles called out into the hallway
"Yeah?" He asked while coming into his son's room "Oh! I didn't know they were staying tonight."
"You should just expect from now on Mr.Stilinski." Emily chuckled
Noah then noticed Stiles with his case files
"I thought I told you to leave this alone.." He groaned
"We think we solved it dad.." Stiles explained
The three teens then told Sheriff Stilinski everything about Matt. Stiles and Scott took the lead because Emily was still slowly recovering from the massive hangover. That dream she had.. She just wanted to forget it and help out.
"So, this kid's the real killer?" Stilinski asked the three
"Yes." they all said simultaneously
"No."
"Yes!" Stiles groaned
"No." He repeated and started to walk away
"Dad, come on! Everybody knows that the police look for ways to connect victims in a murder, okay? So, all he had to do is, like, look through their transcripts and figure out which class they all had in common." Stiles explained, pulling his dad back in to the conversation
"Yeah, except for the fact that the rave promoter, Kara, wasn't in Harris' class."
"All right. Okay, you're right. Sorry. Then, I guess they dropped the charges against him?" Stiles asked sarcastically
"No, you know what? They're not dropping the charges. But, that doesn't prove anything." Stilinski said, you could tell he was getting annoyed
"H–"
"Scott, do you believe this?" Stilinski asked, interrupting his son
"Oh." Stiles sighed, offended that his dad had to ask for another opinion
"It's really hard to explain how we know this, but you just gotta trust us. We know it's Matt." Scott said sheepishly
"Emily, you're the smart one here, is all this true?" He asked the girl who was still sitting on the bed
She slowly stood and walked closer to everyone
"Yes sir, and you know me, I wouldn't lie to you. Matt is responsible for all of this."
"Yeah, he took Harris' car, okay? Look, he knew that if a cop found tire tracks at one of the murders, and that if enough of the victims were in Harris' class, that they'd arrest him." Stiles
"All right, fine. I'll allow the remote possibility. But give me a motive. I mean, why would this kid want most of the 2006 swim team and its coach dead?" Stilinski sighed, agreeing halfly to the idea
"Isn't it obvious? Our swim team sucks! They haven't won in, like, six years!" Stiles yelled and then sighed because that was the dumbest reason he could possibly think of "Okay, we don't have a motive yet. I mean, come on, does Harris?"
"What do you want me to do?" he asked
"We need to look at the evidence." Emily stated
"Yeah, that would be in the station, where I no longer work." He scoffed
"Trust me, they'll let you in."
"Trust you?" he asked with his eyebrow cocked
"Trust... Trust Joey...?" Stiles asked meekly
