"Let me talk to him." Emily begged Isaac as she helped set up the guest room for him

"No."

"Then will you tell me what happened?" She asked, getting a bit angry and forcefully sitting the pillows on the bed. She stared up at the boy who was now fully dry but still had tears rolling down his face, the only time he didn't was during the movie

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because I don't feel the need to talk everything to death like you do! Something bad happened, I'm fine!" He snapped and Emily took a step back

"Fine." She nodded and looked around the room anxiously "There's more blankets in the hall if you get cold and uhm if you need anything.. ask Scott."

"Em.. wa-" He immediately felt bad for snapping at the girl and reached his arm out for hers to apologize

"Nope, we don't have to talk about it." She snapped back and left the room completely

It's been a few days now, the two haven't talked but considering what happened last night and they won't leave each other's side, it's gonna happen sooner or later. Cross country meet today, everyone was crammed on the school bus to travel 6 hours to the meet. Isaac made Emily sit with him, like actually dragged her into the seat when she tried to make her way to the back with Stiles and Scott. Boyd sat in front of the two but Emily paid no attention, she was exhausted and hurt so she fell asleep on top of the blonde very quickly after the bus left the school.

"Stop thinking about it, man." Isaac mumbled while playing with the girls hair who was asleep on his chest

"Like you're not thinking about it, too?" Boyd retorted and Isaac sighed

"Well, let's all stop thinking about it." Emily mumbled to the both of them

"I can't." Boyd stated

"Well, there's nothing you can do about it, either." Isaac told Boyd while Boyd looked at Ethan sitting a few rows behind them sitting with Danny

"Are you sure about that?" Boyd growled

"Don't do anything.. Not on the bus." Emily sighed while sitting up, she turned her head to look at Ethan and then looked at Scott and Stiles "I'll be back." she said to Isaac

"What?" he asked in shock

"I'm just going to check on Scott. I'll be fine." she kissed his cheek softly "I'll be back, then we can talk, okay?"

"Alright." he sighed and kissed her head before she slowly got up and made her way to the seat in front of the boys

She winced as she sat down but thankfully no one caught it as they were in a conversation

"Nice! Okay, next word-- "incongruous."" Stiles said while smiling at the girl who sat in front of them

"Uh, can you use it in a sentence?" Scott asked while sucking in a breath of pain

"Yes. Yes, I can! It's completely incongruous that we're sitting on a bus right now, on our way to some stupid cross-country meet, after what just happened. Incongruous." Stiles spazzed

"Out of place, ridiculous, absurd." Scott replied while leaning his head on the window

"Perfect. Okay, next word. Um... Darach. Darach. It's a noun?" Stiles asked Scott and the two siblings gave him a look of disappointment
