Chapter 3

Third person's POV

'My name is Chaeyoung, Son Chaeyoung.' Chaeyoung introduces herself with a friendly smile on her face,

'Chaeyoung, it's nice to meet you.' Mina greets back in her tiny voice, still with a hint of nervousness,

Chaeyoung smiles, 'So, do you trust me now? Should we get going then, Mina?' She says and offers her hand to Mina,

Mina hesitates for a few seconds then finally takes Chaeyoung's hand, she has decided to trust the girl for now.

Chaeyoung leads Mina out of the storage room, they step slowly, very carefully not to make a sound. When they are about 100 metres away from the house, Chaeyoung makes a whistling sound with her mouth, and right away, her horse comes running over,

Chaeyoung quickly hops on, and before Mina has time to say anything, she pulls Mina up onto the horse, places Mina infront of her. Mina is sitting sideway, with both of her legs on one side of the horse, she wants to change her position, having each of her leg on either side of the horse, her body facing the front just like Chaeyoung, but again before she even has time to do it, Chaeyoung starts to ride away,

Mina quickly holds onto Chaeyoung for safety, but having just met the girl for the first time, she doesn't know where is the appropriate place to hold. She then proceeds to hold onto Chaeyoung's... braided ponytail, and tries her hardest to not have any body contact with the girl,

Chaeyoung glances at Mina, she chuckles, 'It's not that I'm complaining, but here I'm holding onto the horse's reins while you are holding onto my hair, so I'm riding a horse, and you are riding me?',

Mina's face turns red, "riding" means a lot of things in her modern world. She quickly glances at Chaeyoung but the girl seems unaffected, maybe the people in ancient time don't have many interpretations for the word "riding",

'It's just that the position of your body is so awkward right now. Don't hold onto my hair, sit closer and wrap your arms around my neck.' Chaeyoung bluntly tells Mina, straight to the point,

Mina has always been a boss, whether at home with her dog or at work with many people who work in her department. She never has anyone ordering her what to do before, but here she is, finding herself obediently follows Chaeyoung's instruction. Mina moves closer to Chaeyoung, she lets go of the hair and proceeds to wrap her arms around Chaeyoung's neck, hugging the girl, her legs are on top of one of Chaeyoung's leg. She is basically sitting sideway on Chaeyoung's lap.

Chaeyoung smiles to herself, feeling all the differences that this woman brings. Mina's scent is different from any other women she has known before, her scent is light and fresh, not too strong, but surely is addictive, Mina's hair style is so pretty, so different from the usual long hair that all the other women have which is put into a bun and has a pin across it, her outfit is also different, it looks a bit weird to Chaeyoung but in all honesty, Mina looks so pretty in it. But the biggest difference Mina made is the fact that ever since their eyes met earlier, Chaeyoung's heart has been beating faster than her horse can run.

'Uhmm...where are we going?' Mina asks, not sure where Chaeyoung is taking her to,

'We have to catch up with those who got captured and rescue them before they got sold into brothels. I rescued them from Jae Bum and his gang yesterday but somehow they got captured again.' Chaeyoung answers,

'Do you personally know those women?' Mina curiously asks,

'No, I don't know them, I just can't let them be sold into brothels like that. They are human, they have the right to their own freedom. Those thugs Jae Bum and his gang can do nothing but only pick on the weak and defendless people, I'm against them at all cost, in fact I have interfered with their business many times, that if somehow they caught me, they will kill me for sure.' Chaeyoung explains the whole thing to Mina,
