Chapter 4

Third person's POV

Meanwhile, late at night in Kaesong the capital of Goryeo kingdom, Kim Dahyun, the only daughter of Lord Kim Jong Han, the richest man in the whole capital city, is having a date with her lover Nam Min Ki, a good looking man but was born in a poor family.

They have been secretly seeing each other for a while now, but Dahyun hasn't introduced him to her family yet, because she knows her father won't accept them. Being the richest man, he wants his daughter to be married into an equally wealthy family, not with a poor, no future man like Min Ki,

Min Ki has been waiting to make their relationship official, and soon getting married to Dahyun, but every time he brings up this topic, Dahyun would just refuse to talk about it. Day by day, his patience is running low,

They are now sitting at a beautiful lake, their usual dating spot. Min Ki who is upset with life, had a bit to drink before coming to see his lover,

'Dahyun, when are you going to introduce me to your family?' Min Ki brings out this topic again,

'Min Ki, now is not the right time, later... sometimes later...' Dahyun answers,

'Later, later, later, how much longer do I have to wait?' Min Ki raises his voice,

Dahyun takes a deep breath, 'Min Ki, you are drunk. Let's talk about it another day.' She says, standing up, wanting to leave,

He quickly holds her wrist tightly, 'Don't avoid the topic, tell me the truth. You will never introduce me to your family, am I right?'

Dahyun closes her eyes, she sighs deeply, finally facing the topic, 'Min Ki, my father won't accept us. He won't accept a... son in law who has no money or power.'

Min Ki smiles bitterly, 'There, that's the truth. I  have been waiting for nothing.' He is getting a bit angry, feeling hurt by the truth,

Dahyun looks at him intensely, 'Min Ki, instead of blaming life and everyone for being harsh to you, if you focus on your study, you could  have become a scholar and that would make a big difference.' She tells him honestly,

'So it's all my fault now?' Min Ki asks sarcastically,

'It's no one's fault. I was just stating the truth.' Dahyun says,

Min Ki gets angry, 'The truth? The real truth is that even you are looking down on me now.'

'You are not in your right mind, let's talk another time.' Dahyun says and tries to remove her wrist from his hold but he wouldn't let go,

'Dahyun, I won't let you go tonight.' Min Ki says, his eyes turned dark,

'What do you mean?' Dahyun asks but she already could sense the tense air around them,

Min Ki is now looking at her with eyes full of lust, the alcohol has completely taken over him, 'I will make you mine tonight, then your father will have to accept me whether he likes it or not.' He proceeds to push Dahyun to the ground and gets on top of her, kissing her aggressively,

'Stop, Min Ki, stop! What are you doing? Stop!' Dahyun screams out in horror, but he just keeps going,

'Please... stop! Don't do this, please!' Dahyun pleads while crying hard. She tries to fight back but he is just too strong,

Min Ki tears off her outer clothing, he starts to kiss her exposed shoulders. Dahyun's tears are falling nonstop, her hands are searching for something, anything on the ground, and as soon as she has a hold of a rock the size of her palm, she immediately swings it down right on his head, knocks him out instantly,
