Heart Monitor (Season 1)

Scott and Miracle are looking for their mom car after buying groceries. Miracle is wearing black pants with a blue hoodie, bandages are wrapped around her head with her hair covering it. Scott pulls out the keys when Miracle suddenly notices that they are being stalked by a werewolf. Miracle pulls Scott with her and takes off running down the lot

"Okay how can you guys be sure it was a werewolf and not a thug?" Boyd asked Scott shrugged, while Miracle answered "The sent of the wolf, plus no human runs on all fours" she replied throwing Derek a look nobody saw. Boyd looked at her before looking back at the screen muttering, "Right" to himself

The twins spilt up with Scott jumping on cars and Miracle jumping onto the beams of the roof she stays in the air above Scott. Despite his best efforts to get away, Scott is eventually caught by the werewolf who turned out to be Derek. Miracle seeing it was Derek jumps down from the beam scaring Scott and Derek.

Derek then explains that the exercise was part of their training and that if Scott want to learn to control his animal side that he must do it through his anger

"Okay first off you do not approach or train someone like that. And secondly, anger? Really?" Laura said looking at her brother who didn't meet her eyes "Derek look at me" she said but he didn't budge "I said look at me" she forced him to look at her and then as if she was shocked she pulled him back

Derek looked at her with cold emotionless eyes before looking away. Talia gently touched her daughter's shoulder and whispered in her ear, "I am guessing after our death, his rage is what helped him gain control. That is probably his anchor" she said sadly. Laura looked shocked at her brother with sadness before she nodded and looked back at the screen

He also tells him to stay away from Allison, as she is a distraction and then breaks Scott's phone. Scott tells Derek he will stay away then leaves. He forgets Miracle is with him and takes off in their mother's car

"What is wrong with you and leaving your sister behind?" Lydia asked Scott in disbelief "I have a lot of going on" he weakly defends himself "Yeah but if you hadn't noticed you know what you are. You are scared and stressed because of that but Miracle doesn't. I mean I am going to bet that you never even asked how she is handling any of this"

Derek turns to go home when he noticed Miracle walking away "Hey, why didn't you go with Scott?" He asked as he ran to catch up to him "Hey forgot I was with him" she says with no care. Derek looks a little mad "Does he usually do that? Forget you I mean." He explains after seeing her confused face "Yeah him and my mom" she laughs a little bitter "You know my mom always wanted a girl. That's why my name is Miracle, my parents they were suspecting a boy not twins"

"When she got a girl she was so happy and named me Miracle. To them that what I was, well for about 4 years that what I was to my 'father'" She does parentheses when she mentions her father "What do you mean?" Derek asked

Nobody said anything wanting to see where Miracle is heading while Rafe looks down knowing what she means

"He got a little heavy on the alcohol. A few days after our 4th birthday lets just say I never felt safe with him after that, ever scene that I wasn't a miracle to him I was someone he could use as a punching bag. Never went home if I could help it" Derek looks really mad at this

The tension in the room was so high it felt like you could cut it with a knife "You put your hands on my daughter scene she was four years old!?" Melissa shouted at her ex-husband "I knew about it when she was 7 when she told me but scene she was four! What the hell were you thinking" she counited . After about 6 minutes she stopped and the show went on
