The Tell (Season 1)

Jackson and Lydia arrive at the video rental store as Jackson tries to convince Lydia to watch anything else than The Notebook

"What's wrong with the notebook? It's a great movie" Stiles said from his place beside Lydia "Only girls and sissies like you would agree with that" Jackson spat at him "Hey Jackass. Shut the fuck up" Miracle shouted at him, Stiles glared at the boy while Lydia looked at Stiles with a curious look on her face

Jackson goes inside to find The Notebook and finds the rental clerk dead with his throat ripped out. The alpha is inside the store with Jackson and pins him to the ground with a shelf, but instead of killing him he observes the scratches Derek left on the back of his neck before jumping out the window scaring Lydia

Soon, Stiles arrives with his father and is surprised to find Jackson and Lydia there protesting to be allowed to go home

"Saved by the scratch" Isaac muttered looking at a relieved Jackson. Talia looked at screen with narrowed eyes, there was only one reason for a alpha to leave someone unturned and the reason was all too well known to her. Unbeknown to her Miracle is thinking along the lines of this now knowing why he didn't turn Jackson in the first place

Stiles looked at Lydia who had suddenly clung to his arm, "Hey its okay Lydia" he said, Lydia looked at him and smiled taking a deep breath nodding her head shakily. Getting settled back in she doesn't let go of his arm, not that Stiles was complaining.

Derek and the twins are on the roof discussing the incident and Derek explains that the alpha is acting unusually, claiming that werewolves are predators not killers. As they leave, the spiral mark glows red on the roof

"Is that?" Deaton spoke up for the first time and everyone (not Miracle let's be real she is always on alert) jumped a little. Talia looked back at her emissary and nodded gravely "How did I not notice that before" Miracle muttered to herself

Back at his place, Derek explains that he need Scott to find the alpha. Scott questions on why him and not Miracle but Derek explains that Miracle is more than what she seems, he will also need both of their help killing the alpha. But first Scott must learn to endure pain and remain in his wolf form, he teaches Scott by breaking his hand, not noticing Miracle holding her own looking in pain

"That is a terrible way to make a friend Derek" Cora said elbowing his side, Derek said nothing but his face grew sour "What was that?" Stiles question Miracle "Oh I can feel Derek's and Scott's pain. Scott's because we are twins and both wolves and Derek's... well you will need to wait to find out" 

Scott looked at his younger sister in wonder "Does that mean I can feel your pain?" Miracle shakes her head "Only if I let you. See I can block the link on my side, that means not letting you guys feel it but I still feel your pain" Isaac looked at the girl "Can you show us" Nodding her head she pulls out a small dagger from her pocket "What I always carry one around" she explains at the looks she is getting

She pricks her finger and shows the room "See, Scott and Derek didn't feel that now watch all three of us" After waiting a few seconds she pricks her finger again only this time hissing is heard. The room turned to see both Scott and Derek holding their hand "I put down my walls blocking out my pain so you guys can feel it and get the same cuts I do" 

The next day, Kate apologizes to Allison for giving Scott a difficult time, and gives Allison a family heirloom as an, early birthday gift. It's a silver medallion with a snarling, large wolf on the front, Kate tells her to look up her family history.

"That bitch!" Victoria said through gritted teeth. Allison looked at her mother, "What is wrong with know about the family history?" she asked. "You'll see soon enough" Chris said calmly but he had an edge to his voice
