Their heads snapped to where the voice came from and they wavered in shock.

"Don't! You keep doing this! Minho you can't hop from one set of lips to another whenever you want!"

Minho's eyes widened. He was hit with a boulder of reality that he hadn't been aware of until then. Of course, the Barbie Bitch that had spat the words was out of place and had no context whatsoever, but that didn't stop him from absorbing it all.

"What are you even doing here? Get back downstairs," Chan spat back.

"You invited everyone! Don't talk to me like I shouldn't be here!"

"This is my house. I say where you go. And I say you walk down those stairs before I throw you down them," he had so much aggression in his voice that the girl immediately took a step back. But that wasn't enough for him.

He got up from his spot on the carpeted floor and walked to the door, facing her directly. "I said. Leave."

She darted away and down the stairs, leaving Chan to turn around and see the faces of his friends. Most were in shock at the sudden events, but Minho seemed to have slipped into another world. One where he was very obviously contemplating too much. "Mystery-"

"She's right though, isn't she? You're about to say I shouldn't listen to her and that I should shrug it off because she's just a horrible person, but she's right."

"No. No she isn't-"

"Actually she is," Seungmin cut Chan off.

Everyone looked at him like he'd murdered a puppy, and so he felt the need to explain. "You do tend to seek physical affection whenever there's something not-great going on in your life. Obviously what she just saw wasn't that. But maybe it's a good thing that she came in here and said that. Because if she hadn't, we wouldn't have the opportunity to clear this out."

"Clear what out exactly?" Jisung snapped defensively, absolutely raging at the way Seungmin just spoke about Minho.

"Minho seems to only just now have realized his behaviour. But the rest of us have noticed it, and kept quiet. Y'all are probably staying hush hush because you think it'll offend him if you ever brought it up. Maybe because you see it as a bad thing, maybe because you're worried he sees it as a bad thing. What I want to clear out, is that it's not bad. I don't care about anyone's opinion, the fact is that it's a coping mechanism and it's not a horrible terrible disgusting thing. Minho, you seem to be over thinking right now, and that's okay. But I want you to know that ain't no one in this group judging you for it. And it stopped once you got with Jisung. You stopped constantly asking to kiss me. I can tell you right now that I haven't got to that point yet. And that's not a bad thing either. You're smiling. I'm glad. But seriously - yeah, you do it, but no one gives a fuck that you do. And you shouldn't either. It's not like you ever caused drama because of it."

Everyone had sat quietly listening to Seungmin's long speech, realizing that he was actually completely right. They hoped Minho would realize it too.

"So, it's okay that I'm a physical touch slut?" Minho asked quietly, playing with the carpet fibres.

"Absolutely! Chan, do you not adore it when Minho is whiny about bad weather and he spends the entire day glued to your shoulder?"

Chan laughed. "Actually I do."

"Jeongin," Seungmin redirected. "As much as you avoid skinship, you can't tell me that Minho's random hair tussles don't make you smile a little bit."

"No, no you're right. I might swear at you on the outside but actually I like it."

Minho smiled shyly while still looking down at the carpet and playing with it.
