"Hate this day."
"At least it's a Wednesday."
"The only good thing about it."
"That and my brownie stand."
"Oh??"
"Oh yeah, for sure. And Prince and Mosquito are coming."
"How'd you get that right?"
"The Savage Cabbage of course."
"I love that we have a psychopathic friend, and I'm glad he nearly killed the principle."
"This conversation out of context..."
Felix and Jisung were interrupted by Chan and Seungmin arriving. "What's he doing here?" Seungmin pointed at Jisung. "He never helps with set-up."
"Oh I'm not here to help set-up, believe me," he stood and wandered off to wait for the others at the gates.
"This Saturday he'll be seven months sober," Chan said.
"We're going to celebrate I assume."
"Do you think he wants that?"
"Ask him I guess," Felix shrugged. "Personally I wouldn't. Seven is the wrong number. It should've been six, and the next would be one year. So that's in Ju-"
"Uh-uh. Don't bring up July," Seungmin stated firmly.
"Right sorry... Sorry."
"We should ask if he-" Seungmin was interrupted by an insane impact knocking him flat to the ground from behind. He hit the dirt with such force it felt as though his lungs had collapsed. There was a weight on him, and it was speaking, but he heard none of it. He lay there, on his stomach, gasping for air and choking on his own tonsils. The weight finally lifted off him, but it's voice still felt distant while he inhaled his first successful breath, accidentally taking in dirt and loose grass as well. He rolled onto his back, brain feeling funny at the rush of oxygen. A dazed smile on his face, he spoke finally. "What in the fuck just happened?"
He looked at the six figures hovering around him, and saw how they all pointed their fingers at the one closest to him on his left.
"I didn't mean to almost kill you i swear."
It was Hyunjin's voice, and Seungmin realized he wasn't dead. "Badger?"
"Yeah.. Are you okay? Are you badly hurt?"
"No, I'm okay.. What did you do?"
"I just wanted to jump on your back! But I might have gone too fast and then suddenly we were on the ground and you looked like a fish out of water and I almost laughed but then I realized you couldn't breathe so I got off of you and then you went 'huuhhhhhh' and my god the relief I felt but now I don't know if maybe I broke a rib or-"
Seungmin's laughter cut him off. "I love you so much you blabbering mess," he said through giggles.
Hyunjin's eyes went wide and he just stared down at the flushed boy.
"Anyways!" Felix clapped his hands. "Buddha if you're all good and well I want this brownie stand up and running long before people even start arriving so let's go go go!"
Seungmin sat up, his hair an absolute mess with pieces of grass sticking in it as well. "Yes drill sergeant."
Hyunjin was still crouched down where he watched Seungmin stand up, dust off his coat, and walk over to Felix. Apparently he'd been down there staring for too long because suddenly Changbin was lifting him up from under his arms and dragging him dramatically over to some benches.
