"What a Christmas!" Chan sang happily, very much in the spirit.

After spending the morning with their families, the gang had met at Seungmin's house to do their own celebrations - getting high on Felix's brownies. Minus Jisung of course, who only pretended to eat it before feeding his to Minho.

When Minho had arrived he hadn't given much thought to where he was or what had all happened there, but when he'd gone upstairs to the bathroom he saw a familiar door that brought back too much. He suddenly no longer needed to pee, because that would mean walking past the door, and he couldn't do that. He didn't know anything about what went down in that room but he knew Seungmin had changed since. Starting with his psychotic behaviour the day Hyunjin nearly crashed the car - the way he'd only laughed, and how even after he'd woken up in hospital, he couldn't seem to be bothered. Then the more subtle things, like how he laughed more often, but even at things that weren't particularly funny. How he'd given away a lot of the books he was always throwing his nose into, how he only occasionally came to singing club.

Hyunjin had previously been uncomfortable in the house due to his own disturbing memories of the big fight that had taken place in the living room. However, the more time he spent there with Seungmin, the more he relaxed and now he no longer even thought of the negative memories.

Jisung was different. After his birthday, when Seungmin had opened up to him about his brother, he'd never been to the house, by choice. He felt as though he was intruding. Seungmin had told him that he reminded him of his brother, and at the time it was heartwarming, but now he felt intrusive. He was walking where Wonpil had walked, drinking from the cups he once used and watching the movies he'd once had on his to-watch list. It felt.. Wrong. He didn't want to slot himself into this hole in Seungmin's life. Everyone wants that missing piece filled after they lose it, but they want it filled by the original, not by a Walmart rip-off. (A/n I have these thoughts so often I ought to replace that slot with what I once bought, coz somebody stole my car radio and now I just sit in silence)

-

"So! Movie!" Hyunjin clapped excitedly.

"I agree, the brownies will kick in halfway through and then we'll all have absolutely no fucking clue what's going on. Perfect," Felix said with enthusiasm.

They settled on the floor and furniture as usual and put on the first thing Seungmin could think of - Beetlejuice.

-

"Is anyone still awake?" Hyunjin asked tiredly.

"Here," Jeongin lazily raised his arm for a moment before letting gravity bring it back down.

"Me too," Seungmin said from next to Hyunjin.

"Anyone remember anything from the last six hours?"

"Barely man, barely," Jeongin laughed.

"There was something about stripes I think," Seungmin sounded as though he was thinking really hard on why there were stripes.

"And something about a name."

"Am I the only one that has a horribly vivid memory of some kind of monstrous worm?"

There was silence for two seconds before Hyunjin and Seungmin burst out laughing at Jeongin's statement.

"No, no i don't remember a monstrous worm," Seungmin said, dragging out the 'worm'.

"Lucky you then."

"Can I lean on you? My back hurts from sitting up," Hyunjin asked Seungmin.

"Sure but Jeongin might throw up."

"And why would I do that?" Jeongin asked with a high pitched voice.
