Shuichi POV:
I decided to hang out with Ouma-kun since I had nothing else to do. I found him around the back of the school. I still have no clue if he's serious or not about killing me however. It's hard to tell. I think he just lives to confuse people at this point.
"I'm glad you decided to come today, Shuichi! Remember! Todays your last chance, okay?" I just nodded. I still have no idea if he's being serious or if he's just toying with me... it makes my head hurt trying to figure it out.
And it doesn't help about he happily he speaks about certain things. I guess no one can really know what he's thinking, or how he's feeling, when he's being serious and when he's not. It's mentally exhausting to deal with.
"Now, it's time for the final game! It's this..." He began not finishing his sentence. He was reaching for something from his pocket. I tilted my head in confusion. So this is actually a game we might be able to play.
Hopefully it doesn't include one of us having to die. Because it's starting to worry me how those are the only types of games he wants to play. Unless it's rock paper scissors where we just keep predicting each others thoughts.
"Ta-daaaa!" He chirped happily while he pulled a... IS THAT A KNIFE!? He pulled out a freaking knife from his pocket! Out of instinct I jumped back.
"Whoa! A knife?! What are yo-" I began being swiftly cut off by a. Giggling. Kokichi. "Nye-heehee! Don't worryyyy it's only for the game!" He happily said setting it on the picnic table beside us. I sighed from relief.
Thank god I'm not dying today. Or am I? I don't know anymore. What game is he planning?
"You know what the knife game is right?" He asked with a questioning look on his face. His head barely tilted to the side. He looked a bit to innocent for his real personality. He really does hide in a web of lies huh?
"The knife game?" I asked. Is he serious? Is that really the name of the game? (Fun fact-- in the middle of class I play the knife game with a pencil on my desk and now everyone thinks I'm insane)
"Oh it's simple! You place your palm on the table, spread out your fingers, and stab between them!" He had said with a determined look on his face. That's an actual game?! Who would play such a game?!
"Don't worryyyy since you've never played before, I guess I'll do it! It's quite fitting for the final game isn't it?!" He asked happily grabbing the knife from the picnic table. As strange and annoying as he is, I really don't want him hurting himself.
"Shuichi, remember! If I don't hit myself! You'll be beyond injured. You'll die." His whole aura changed... now he seems serious. Which is making me think he's actually serious about killing me.
He spread his fingers out on the table and lifted the knife. I don't think I've ever seen him as serious as before. It was strange, unnatural for him even. He took in a deep breath and then...
"Im ready." He stated and started stabbing the knife between his fingers. He was going so fast! How can someone-!
Then all of a sudden the tapping sound on the table stopped. I stared at the scene taking in what happened. He had stabbed his finger. I knew it! I just knew it someone was going to get hurt!
"K-Kokichi!" I raised my voice a bit. He was still going! What the hell!? I moved as swiftly as I could and grabbed his wrist. "Kokichi stop! Stop! I'll take care of it!" I watched as he set down the knife a bit shakily and smiled.
I looked around and noticed a first aid kit sitting on one of the tables. I assume he had this prepared incase one of us got injured. Thank god. I grabbed it and took care of his wound.
And he was just laughing and giggling like he was having the time of his life!
"Kokichi... do you think thats fine?" I asked looking at him while he finally stopped laughing and smiled at me. "Yep! It wasn't deep, so I think that it's fine. Thanks Shuichi!" He said smiling. However whenever he spoke next it faded into more of a pouty expression.
"Aw man... I lost... congrats Shuichi! You win!" I was confused. Did I really win? I didn't do anything. I tilted my head to the side in slight confusion.
"Did I really win?" I asked. Now he looked just as confused as I did now. "Well yeah, I messed up so you win by default" He explained. I felt my curiosity leave for the moment. A small moment however.
"Plus, I already filled my object! To kill you!" He smiled. I just looked at him. But I'm alive?
"Wellll I made your heart die with worry didn't I? After I said that I would kill you, I was on your mind the entire week righttt?" He asked. I guess he's right. I was pretty worried. I guess I didn't realize it until today. But I guess I grew quite attached to the little liar...
"Nee-heehee! Now you'll never forget me Shuichi!" His smile faded from a Kokichi smile, which mind you did look quite fake in reality... to what seemed to be a more genuine smile.
"I stole your heart, so now I'm satisficed! I don't need you life anymore" He explained still smiling. I could feel a small blush creep onto my cheeks.
Then the next thing I knew, he was right in front of me with his arms around my neck. At this point I was probably beat red. While he giggled. "I love you Shuichi!" He chirped leaving me a flustered mess.
He leaned closer to my face. Were we actually about to kiss!? Wha-! Then all of a sudden he laughed and pulled away sprinting towards the door.
"Bye Shuichi! Love ya!" Then he left.
