chapter 28: the water break

-the next day-

(B= Bokuto, Ku= Kuroo Ak= Akaashi)

Bokuto, Kuroo, Akaashi, Tsukishima, and Hinata were in the gym practicing after hours. They all stopped to have a water break

B: "Do you guys have any idea what y/n looks like?" Bokuto asked out of the blue

H- "Huh?"

Ku- "I'm kinda curious too. She always has her hood covering her face."

B- "Does she not like the way she looks?"

H- "It's kinda complicated why she doesn't like to show her face"

Ku- "But do you guys know what she looks like?"

T- "Yeah"

Ku- "Can you describe her?"

Ak- "if y/n is covering her face then she most likely doesn't want to share very much information about her appearance"

H- "It's okay Akaashi-san. Well she has h/l h/c hair and e/c eyes"

B- "And..."

H- "I don't know what else to say to describe her?"

Ku- "Okay then, we don't know much about her. She's really quiet"

B- "Yeah! Tell us about y/n"

H- "Well um... she reads a lot"

B- "Everyone knows that! Her eyes are always glued to her book"

H- "Then... well... she doesn't really talk about herself"

What else can I say without exposing her? Hinata thought looking at the boys puzzled

T- "She comes off as cold and quiet but that's only because she's uncomfortable talking to people. No matter who they are. She's generally a very positive and happy person. But you probably won't see that side of her since she takes a while to get comfortable with people. She's been going through some shit lately so she's been acting extra cold to everyone, even her own team. Hence, another reason why she slapped Oikawa instead of just shooing him away. She's been playing volleyball since she was three and she could live off of coffee cake. Her ex boyfriend's a dick, and she's known her best friend since she was six and she got her best friend into volleyball so now they play nearly everyday together. She plans on making Japan's international volleyball team when she's older. And based on her current skills, I wouldn't be surprised if she did."

Ku- "Hmm... you seem to know a lot about y/n"

H- "I didn't even know some of that"

T- "It's basic information. You should pay more attention"

H- "But since when do YOU listen to anyone"

T- "..."

Ku- "Is there something between you two?"

T- "No"

H- "You sure? I mean, I know you guys don't hang out at school unless she's talking to Yamaguchi"

T- "and"

H- "even when she's there with you two, you don't seem to care"

Ku- "Aw, does Tsukki have a soft spot for y/n?"

H- "If I hung out around you, you'd get all grumpy. More than usual"

T- "I can tolerate her. She's quiet and not as annoying as you"

Ku- "Does Tsukki secretly stalk y/n?"

T- "what the hell? Where'd you get that idea from?"

Ku- "Well if you don't talk to her, then why do you know so much about her?"

T- "like I said, It's basic information. Shrimpy would know if he listened to what y/n says"
