chapter 33: the unwanted visitor

?- "y/n!"

y/n- "Tendase? What are you doing here?"

K- "Kyo"

Y/n- "no"

K- "..."

y/n- "you shouldn't be here. This is the jaguar's practice. Here I'm Kitty, not y/n"

K- "I know but I just had to see you and I can't find time to see you at school since you're always with the volleyball boys and I know they wouldn't let me get even close to you"

y/n- "there's a reason for that"

K- "you know, I've really been thinking about it and I know I said that I made a mistake but I'm really serious when I say that I did. Within this past month all I've been doing was thinking about you. I cut things off with Gisa just for you"

y/n- "so what?"

K- "..."

y/n- "it's not like it's gonna change anything"

K- "come on"

y/n- "you lost my trust. You really fucked up and how you tried to blackmail me into staying just makes it worse"

K- "I know I know it's just I love you too much to let you go so I just said the first thing that came to mind. I wasnt thinking"

y/n- "I loved you too but-"

K- "see we both love eachother so-"

y/n- "I've moved on"

K- "don't tell me it's that blonde beanpole"

y/n- "who it is doesn't matter. Whats important is that i've moved on and that I don't love you anymore"

y/n- "no. not anymore" Kyo sighed looking at his bracelet. y/n's initials engraved into the heart pendant

K- "I don't care. I'm not giving up on you. Not yet"

♡later that night after practice♡

y/n sat at the top of the hill leaning against a tree with her eyes closed

T- "hey" y/n jumped at the sudden noise

y/n- "oh... Kei, it's just you"

T- "What's with that face?"

y/n- "what face?"

T- "that one. The one you make when something bad happened"

y/n- "I don't have a face"

T- "yeah you do. You have a small pout. Your bottom lip slightly pushed out. You also refuse to make eye contact. As you can see from what you're doing right now, you bite the inside of your cheek and dig your nails into your wrist"

y/n- "you notice those small details about me? That's kinda creepy"

T- "i'm just observant. Now don't change the subject, what happened?" y/n took a deep breath

y/n- "Kyo happened"

T- "I told you to block him"

y/n- "I did"

T- "then what?"

y/n- "he came here"

T- "here?!"

y/n- "yeah. He took a train all the way here just to talk to me while I was at practice"

T- "Jaguar practice?"

y/n- "yup. during our water break"

T- "what did he do?"

y/n- "apologized again. Telling me that he always wants to talk to me but he never has the chance since you and the team are always around me at school"

T- "what else did he want?"

y/n- "huh?"

T- "what else did he want? No guy would take a train from Miyagi to Tokyo just to apologize to someone for the who knows what time"

y/n- "I mean..."

T- "what did he want"

y/n- "he told me that he still loves me..."

T- "what?!"

y/n- "yeah... he told me that he loves me and that he broke it off with Gisa because he wants to be with me instead"

T- "and"

y/n- "and what?"

T- "what did you say?"

y/n- "to him?"

T- "who else?"

y/n- "I told him that i've moved on"

T- "and he responded with?"

y/n- "he told me that he's not giving up on me" there was a sudden silence between the two until Tsukishima decided to break it.

T- "have you really moved on?"

y/n- "huh?"

T- "have you really moved on or are you just saying that?"

y/n- "I... I have moved on. I don't love Tendese. My heart isn't his anymore"

T- "does it belong to someone?"

y/n- "what?"

T- "your heart. You said that your heart isnt his anymore, does that mean that it belongs to someone else?"

y/n- "my heart? Belonging to someone... n-no... I just, I just dont love him anymore"
