chapter 30: the push

-1 week later-

y/n was with Tsukishima when suddenly two tall boys approached them

B- "Tsukki! Come play with us!"

T- "No"

B- "Oh come on!"

T- "No"

Ku- "l/n plays volleyball right?" l/n stayed silent "If l/n plays, will you?" he looked at y/n who was looking down at the floor. He thought for a moment

T- "Yes"

Ku- "Come on l/n! Play with us!" she shook her head

B- "please!" she once again shook her head

Ku- "it'll be fun!" she shook her head one last time

y/n- "can we go now?" she whispered to tsukki who nodded his head and the two and started to walk away

B- "if you play we'll buy you coffee cake! Tsukki said you love it!" y/n stopped leaving Kei concerned knowing that's one of her weaknesses

T- "you don't need it. we get it every week together" he took her wrist and started to walk away

K- "l/n! Come on! we'll stop bothering you if you play!" Kei looked at the girl

T- "don't listen to them, it's a trap. They'll bother us even more if we play"

y/n- "Well I mean it IS volleyball..." she whispered

T- "you better not agree right now" She looked up at him with a pout "fine. You're gonna kill me one day" he turned around and groaned "y/n said she'll play"

B- "and that means Tsukki's playing too!" Bokuto ran and to both of their wrists and pulled them into the gym

-Water break-

Ku- "So, what's your relationship together?"

T- "we're teammates"

Ku- "I wasn't asking you. I was asking l/n"

H- "she's not going to respond to you. She never really talks to new people especially right now"

Ku- "of course she does!"

T- "For the first time I'm siding with the pipsqueak. She doesn't really talk in general. we've gone over this before"

B- "yeah but we wanna hear her voice! Hear what she has to say"

T- "she most likely won't respond" Bokuto pouted

H- "I mean she hasn't really talked to anyone except I think three people? Well, other than great king who she slapped"

Ku- "really?"

H- "yeah. Apparently he was bothering her and-"

Ku- "no, not that. She only talks to three people

H- "yeah for some reason she only talks to Suga, Yamaguchi, and Tsukishima. Actually, now that I think about it, lately she really doesn't talk to anyone but Tsukishima..."

Ku- "why's that l/n?"

y/n: "..."

B- "yeah why are you always around Tsukki?" Y/n seemed to start shrinking

Ak- "she seems a bit uncomfortable"

B- "we're just asking her a question"

T- "one she doesn't want to answer"

Ku- "oh come on it's not that bad right l/n" all eyes were on the small girl

H- "guys she really hates attention"

Ku- "It's not that big of a deal"

T- "leave her alone" sudden terror came upon her making her feel like the only thing she could do was get up and run and that's exactly what she did

T- "great, look what you guys did" Tsukishima said before getting up to chase after the girl

Ku- "we didn't mean to..."

Ak- "it was clear that she doesn't like attention and looked uncomfortable"
