CHAPTER 27

It was the day of Taekook's date, oh no they aren't dating but for everyone looking from outside would just think they are lovers. Taehyung was now dressing in his room, he had handed all works to yoongi and bambam to take care today because he has more important works, as he said to them. He was wearing some casuals, a hoodie and regular jeans, putting his mask on and spraying some perfume, checking himself on the mirror. He smiled to himself looking at the mirror. 

He was walking down the stairs hurrying to go out when he saw Namjin sitting on the sofa , Jin lying his head on Namjoon's lap and looking at the phone, occasionally feeding Namjoon who was reading a book some oranges .He couldn't help but smile at them, they are his role model couples. They fight, tease each other, take matured decisions together, support and care for each other. He somewhere wished himself as Namjoon his dadda and Jungkook as Jin his pappa. He quickly snapped out of it when he thought once again what he just dreamed of. Did he saw Jungkook that way? no right? then why was he begging for jungkook's forgiveness and share everything with him? why he want to see him again? he shook his head at the thoughts and continued to walk down the stairs and came to the living room.

He was about to go outside when Jin called him back. "Hey Taebear? where you going in this?", Jin asked perplexed because he never thought taehyung had casuals with him. Taehyung turned around and gave a nervous smile and said "Oh! that, I just wanted to change my style a bit. I decided to take a break today from the office to relax myslef" Jin was now more shocked, Namjoon snapped his head to Taehyung's side and looked weirdly at him from head to toe.

 Jin once again quesioned "But you never took breaks all these years, why so sudden. As far as I remember you always said, nothing matters more than making your company top". Taehyung was now all red he replied with difficulty "I-I decided now, can't I change. People change Pappa". Jin curtly nodded at him. Taehyung excused himself and literally ran out from there.

Jin glanced at Namjoon and smiled understandingly and said "Love changes people right, Joonie?", Namjoon was still confused he asked Jin "really? , care to explain what's on your brain Jinnie that you aren't telling me". Jin laughed at his cute husband and sat straight infront of him cupped his face and said "You always was sad that Taehyung didn't care for others other than us, he was cold hearted and all but let me tell you, he is changing our bear is going to be more lovely and cheery like you wished because of LOVE, like I changed you there's someone for Taehyung too to teach him how to love". Namjoon was surprised and muttered an  oh, Jin smiled at him and both of them cuddled watching a movie. Namjoon's heart was now light hearted. It felt like a great weight got taken down.

With Jungkook.

Jungkook took the perfect chance to sneak out of the house saying to Eunwoo that he had a study session with his friends at the library and Eunwoo too was going to some of his other friends. Jungkook had a hard time finding the right dress. He finally ended up on a blue sweatshirt and regular jeans. He bid goodbye to his driver uncle infront of the library but took a different route which lead to lotte world. he was nervous yet excited. He excitedly bounced while walking, his eyes sparkling seeing the children with candies of different colours eating them happily. He finally reached the front of the mall, as Tae told him to wait there.

He was there waiting for the other person when suddenly someone covered his eyes from behind, he was panicked but suddenly calmed when he smelled the calming musky scent of the person. He smiled to himself and wiggled to get out of the grip of the person, when the said person said in his deep voice coming closer to his ear, hands still on the bun's eyes. "Guess me, Bun". Jungkook giggled at his hyungie and said "Ofcourse, I know Taehyungie hyung it's you".

Taehyung surprisingly took his hands out. He asked the boy surprised "How did you know, it was me Koo". Kook smiled with his angelic smile and replied "Ofcourse, your smell and voice silly hyung", Taehyung chuckled with shyness and scratched his nape awkwardly and took Jungkook's hands with his and dragged the boy with him. Jungkook happily laughed at skipped with him his hands too firmly holding Taehyung. They first reached the watch store. He and Taehyung were looking some branded watches for Taehyung ,and Jungkook was trying to select a nice watch which he could afford. While Taehyung, well.. he was busy admiring the bunny boy who was scrunching his nose cutely everytime he checked the watch, sometimes smiling and mentally thinking something with a pout on his face.

Jungkook finally selected a watch and called Taehyung who was watching him, Taehyung went near him. Jungkook carefully placed the watch on Taehyung's wrist, while Taehyung's heart was going on dancing to dynamite. Jungkook smiled widely when he found the watch perfect for Taehyung. He smiled at Taehyung, who was confused. Taehyung thought Jungkook wants the watch. Jungkook told the salesman to pack that watch and went to pay the bill. He gave his card and bought the bag from the man and came near Taehyung, who was still processing.

"Koo, why did you pay for the watch if you wanted it , I could have bought it " Taehyung said, Jungkook smiled at him and gave the bag to Taehyung "Hyungie, if I want to buy a gift for you, it's not right to ask you for money right?". Tae was now more surprised, he blinked his eyes and asked "Koo, you didn't had to buy it though, this is expensive too". Jungkook shook his head and calmly said "Hyungie, I got paid for one of my paintings in the exibhition held at college and I wanted to buy a gift for you. As a memoir of our friendship". 

Taehyung couldn't help but hug jungkook tightly. It's not the price or brand or beauty of the watch that made him almost teared up but the purity in the person who bought the gift. He hugged jungkook more tightly and whispered in his ear "Thankyou Jungkook, a lot. "

Jungkook smiled at his hyungie's reaction and they released from the hug and the both just stared at each other for some time. Taehyung couldn't help but feel so warm in his heart because of Jungkook. He just wished why everyone can't be Jeon Jungkook. Jungkook was so different from others, always saw the good in everything. His heart swelled with pride that Jungkook bought a gift for him from his hard earned money. He could have used his brother's money but he chose to gift taehyung with his own money. That's how partners are right?

Both of them released from each other and jungkook suddenly shouted "Let's Go Hyungie!! there is ice skating there!!", Taehyung was shook with the sudden shouting, but chuckled at the excited bunny and followed the bunny who was excitedly skipping to the kids ice skating there. They went in the ice skating ring and had fun with how clumsy jungkook was, landing on the ice and hurting his bum and Taehyung consoling him, taking Jungkook's hand with him and leading to skate with him. They also played in the arcade and finally now was sitting in the restaurant . 

Jungkook was having his frothy coffee and Taehyung his americano. Jungkook happily finished the drink , the cream sticking on the upper part of his lips like a moustache. Taehyung couldn't help himself but giggle at how cute his koo was. He leaned forward and wiped the cream with his thumb. Jungkook's bambi eyes widening and a red hue on his cheeks till neck. He cursed the stupid butterflies in his time, why can't they stop flying around his belly everytime Taehyung comes close.

Jungkook awkwardly smiled at Taehyung, who was also now all red because of what he did now. They both ate food later and talked about some other things, and had a great time with each other's teasing each other and joking . It was now finally time to depart for both of them, They were now in the entrance of the mall. Wanting to go but not wanted this moment to end. Jungkook waved a goodbye to Taehyung and was turning to leave when Taehyung called him again, and went to him, Taehyung didn't want Jungkook to go away from him. He asked jungkook with a deep breath "Can you stay a bit longer Bambi".

I know, I'm late, it's after 6 days I am updating this. Really sorry but exams are going on and the PTD concert. I was in it's hangover. You all can understand right, 🤧❤️
